Dear Sir, Here is the response to your email from Friday 23/02/2024 received in the afternoon in which you briefly expressed your disappointment regarding the quality of the perfume you recently received: Wednesday 21/02/2024 - reference 3668 - Jean-Paul Gaultier - EDT Intense 125 ml. We regret the inconveniences experienced and ask you to accept our sincere apologies for this situation. In accordance with our General Terms and Conditions of Sale article 16 - Customer Service and our presentation Who are we? our offices are open from Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 17:00. At this stage, here is what we can tell you about this bottle: it was delivered to our warehouse at the beginning of December 2023 directly from our supplier, official distributor Jean-Paul Gaultier, the items that are still for sale on 1000parfums.ch all belong to the same batch, this is the only remark received to date regarding this reference. The batch number allows us to determine the production date by the brand: 2023/08/04, the bottle is therefore 6 months and 22 days old today. The shelf life of perfumes depends on a period after opening and a production date. The estimated usage duration for alcohol-based products is up to 5 years and often longer. On the other hand, a hermetically sealed perfume can retain its scent and potency for years. However, the color of the perfume changes. It should not be concluded that its fragrance is disturbed: the perfume continues to live as its raw material always evolves. The perfumeries you have already contacted could provide you with these initial elements... The very stable environment of our warehouse is perfectly suited for storing our merchandise as the temperature and lighting are controlled. Given the information provided, it is impossible for us to determine with certainty the origin of this type of incident which remains quite exceptional. During the bottling of the bottle, was the cap improperly closed or was the safety closure of the sprayer not airtight which led to oxidation of the perfume juice? The liquid becomes darker and cloudy and the scent also alters, losing its fragrance and giving off a more alcoholic aroma. To perform a control of the bottle, you will find attached a return slip as well as a barcode for shipping, allowing you to return the perfume in its original packaging. We invite you to reuse the cardboard received and complete if necessary the padding so that the bottle reaches us in perfect condition. Upon receipt of the bottle, our team will carry out a first inspection and if necessary it will be forwarded to the brand's control service. In this case, it will take about fifteen days before we can communicate the conclusions of the various parties involved. Of course, if the problem is confirmed we will proceed with the replacement at no additional cost. It is always difficult to determine with certainty the origin of this type of incident which remains quite exceptional: shock during various transports, a defect in the bottle, a problem during the filling of the bottle, ...

Thursday 27.06.2019: Follow-up from you and immediate response from 1000parfums.ch. At the same time, acceptance by the distributor to replace the bottle.

On Tuesday 12/06/2018, you requested by phone a delivery for Wednesday 13/06/2018. At 15:20 on 12/06/2018 we informed you by email that we were unable to ship within the desired timeframe.
Your order was sent priority signature on 13/06/2018 at no additional cost and delivered on 15/06/2018 at 11:48!
Your Grrr corresponds to your dissatisfaction!
However, two events completely independent of our will have affected the situation:
- the last-minute announcement from our supplier of a delivery delay
- the distribution delay from La Poste, this service is under the responsibility of La Poste.

Although we do everything to ensure that our packages leave our depot well packaged, with contents well secured and padded so that it moves as little as possible, the packages are subject to several manipulations, shocks, pressures, friction, and impacts during the various stages of transport by La Poste. We draw your attention to our General Terms and Conditions of Sale, particularly article 12 - Claim “If the merchandise should present a defect, Brand Avenue SA guarantees the customer immediate replacement within the limits of available stock...” Furthermore, our packages are sent by La Poste in PostPac Economy Signature.
