Excellent site for modelers of various experience levels. Large variety of models that can satisfy almost any search. Since online sales reach a very large audience they could keep the prices a little lower but you can also find the unobtainable from them. Fast shipping and perfect packaging.

First purchase on this site and disappointing

Good, but delivery time takes really long very competitive prices and very good customer service. The only thing that nags me about them is there very long shipping time and costs.

hello in my order of early march 2014 i ordered a model (the order summary is correct and the invoice too) but it's another one that i received ... i sent a message to [email protected] but no answer! The problem is that what was delivered to me was part of a previous order and so I have a duplicate box which I don't have.

I have nothing in particular to say only that I received on time with excellent packaging the item I requested . nothing more.

waste of time and money Hey, I would like to share with you my worst buying experience I've had so far , here are the details of the case : I saw many publications in magazines of models building from about 1001modelkits.com , after I checked and compared prices and seeing positive reviews online I decided to try and do a purchase from them. the site seem very impressive and serious , with huge stock and tempting prices - including low postage. I made the purchase at 7.3.14 and according to the site terms it has been said that the shipment will be sent in no more than 48 hours. After several days that i did not received from them any email to document the purchase (which I usually get right away from my experience from buying in many websites) I contacted their customer service department and after a few days I received the following laconic message : "" Dear customer , Rest assured that we do our best to deliver our customers quickly. You will receive a tracking number as soon as the package is sent. Best regards, Customer service 1001modelkits"" Since the message said nothing about delivery time, estimated shipment or reason for the delay (all products were marked as available and in stock ) I tried to contact again to their customer service department with email's and direct messages to their online services but until now I did not get any response or any replay . this looks like just a scam to rub you out of your money!

Package conforms to order, packaging and tracking very good. Only downside: relatively long lead time (almost 2 weeks) even though the items were available... point to improve

It is ultimately just a ""word-of-mouth". It simply collects an order and passes it on to the manufacturer. In my case the order referred to an Italian site the product arrived after a few more days from France. Also found the Victory then on the official Revell site in the online shop at just over $25 practically bought on an Italian site to pay three times as much. Next time I will be more careful

I find that compared to other competing sites the prices are abnormally high (see for example the Heller Royal Sun 1100 sold at nearly 60% more than normal (among others)). In addition lead times are very long (allow 3 weeks) and moreover items advertised as available are not always proof of a poorly monitored stock situation;Taking OUPS as an example is a tip to follow. Frustrating organization for a model builder looking for accessories to improve basic kits. After 15 days of waiting, I finally finished the model in progress before receiving these famous accessories.

I have been waiting 6 weeks for my item I have nothing yet. I have paid in advance. Finally after 7 email they reply saying that it is a fault of the supplier and they are still waiting for the product. This is strange because on the stock of 1001modellbau it says that the item is more than 15 and 25 ouf stock and available. So i like this will take many months i hope they will refund my money. What would 1001modellbau think if they had to wait months for their money? That can't be right!

the colors correspond exactly to the models with the corresponding numbers, and they look great. What's more, you can get them for less.

Too bad you can't get a tracking number for economy parcels.

This site is a real landmark for enthusiasts, who can find what is no longer available in physical shops..... Shipping is fast, even if the charges seem a bit expensive. To be recommended

Order placed on Feb 10 and immediately paid by credit card on Feb 25 I am notified that the item is no longer available and that I will be refunded the amount. I ask for a credit note x make another purchase and no response is given to me.... Not first but certainly last purchase I make on this site. Previous purchases of available material have also been very slow to arrive!
