8 weeks from purchase to delivery My credit card was charged 29Dec12, and my order arrived 10Feb13. 1001modelkits claimed a delay in their supply chain, but all I ordered was 15 1oz Tamiya paint jars. I will never order from them again.

here's my order that I didn't receive: Horsa Mk.I Troop transport glider. 1001 had what I needed at a reasonable price! I needed some Aber treadplate and 1001 Models had it in stock. The real irony is the North American importer for Aber lives a mile away but was out of stock at the moment. The delivery speed was resonable with no undue Customs hiccups coming across the Canadian border (and minimal snow delay as well). I placed an order for two items after a reminder 10 days later and still had not received the parcel. After the 3rd message, I was told that one item was not available in the color I had ordered. Having accepted, I received my parcel but I only had one article out of two. I was told that they didn't know when it would be available. I was therefore charged on the date of my order and to this day there is still no sign of life from customer service. I strongly advise against ordering

This one was ordered I believe on December 22 and after two letters of complaint on my part I only received it on January 10. Slightly long order processing times. The fact that there is no stock and that orders are sent directly to the various suppliers has a lot to do with this. Otherwise, there's nothing to say, the products received are as ordered.

Ordered on 10.01. Confirmation of receipt of payment on 12.01. (so far great!) but only on 17.01. the notification that the items have been shipped. This is ok so far but not a top value. If items are not immediately available, a notification to the customer would be desirable. All in all, I will certainly not have ordered for the last time). Italeri article for 2199€ - ordered from another store for 1495€ Conclusion - absolutely praiseworthy huge selection especially for scaffolding sets (here also comparable prices). - fast confirmation of receipt of payment with prepayment (that makes a good gut feeling) - relatively fast shipping - unfortunately clearly too expensive for kits (sometimes almost double the price compared to the competition) ... this messes up many orders that would end up with you at a comparable price because I (and also model building colleagues) would place them with the scaffolding parts Since the price is no secret and everything else is serious, there are still 4 stars.

Very satisfied with the products ordered. On the other hand very disappointed with your site for the management of addresses (billing and delivery) Nothing is respected even after calling your sales department. A piece of advice: improve your site for delivery and everything will be fine.

I'd like to add a little something to my assessment. I've just read a number of comments and I've noticed that customer service very often tends to blame the end-of-year festivities for delays. However, as far as I'm concerned, my order was placed after the festivities and delivery still took 15 days.

After several orders for products supposedly""available"" it turns out that on 1001maquettes these products are not in stock! This is regrettable, and in the end delays are lengthened. Shipping costs are exorbitant! Paying €890 plus shipping to receive a bubble envelope with your products in it is, in my opinion, taking the piss!

Received torn packaging surrounded by tape ""La Poste"" for the package to hold and a callage really done in a hurry that did not allow the model to arrive unscathed.

How long, oh Lord? I placed my order on Dec 19 2012, that was a month ago. It STILL hasn't arrived. I am less than pleased.

Item was delivered well after it was promised and horrible customer service I ordered a model to be delivered for the holidays, and it ended up being delivered a couple of weeks late. Attempted to contact the seller several times without response. Do not recommend.
