Shipping took far too long.

The product fully corresponds to the description so I am absolutely satisfied. But the shipping time was a disaster: order processed on 18.12.2012 order processed on 21.12.2012 handover to shipping company confirmed by email on 24.12.2012 from DHL confirmation of collection delivered here on 04.01.2013. So the parcel was on its way from France to me for 14 days, of which it spent 10 days in the parcel center in Belgium alone. I understand that Christmas and the turn of the year are hot shipping times, but 10 days without any movement in a parcel center is a bit much. The statement in the email said that delivery would take place in 6 to 9 days. That didn't work out at all. MfG Uwe Clausen

I ordered a motorcycle model and was really disappointed. When I ordered, the product information was inaccurate (product to be assembled with glue as well as painted). When I received it, I realized that the bike had to be assembled and was already painted..... In addition, the delivery times were not respected, so I offered the model very late, which caused me a lot of inconvenience... I'm absolutely unhappy with my order and am still waiting for a reply from customer service regarding the refund.

No worries from 1001maquettes' point of view, the parcel is in perfect condition and the delivery times were correct for the Christmas period. However, the Colissimo clowns gave the parcel to one of my neighbors, even though the post office is only 20 metres from my home, without asking me for the person's identity or giving him mine... It's really irresponsible behavior knowing that I was in a hurry to offer this parcel.... In short, no hard feelings, but your managers should have a little chat with the Post Office or their president.

Product was correct but shipping was SLOW I ordered a model kit and it took over two weeks for it to leave their warehouse. The transit time was not the issue it was how long it took for them to deliver it to the carrier. No explanation as to why, not too impressed!

I ordered the model "Halberstadt"" on December 12th and received confirmation that it would be delivered within 6 to 9 days. All orders placed before December 14 should reach their destination before Christmas. However, the expected shipment did not arrive until December 28. We were already back from our Christmas visit to our grandfather, who was very excited about the model airplane with the name of his home town. Now I have to send the gift to him later, so it will be delayed again and he will need help to collect it from the post office. I will not be entrusting any more gift requests to this mail order company.

The product is absolutely top but the selection of the product is quite difficult because the pictures in the search are quite small and the magnification is not really good, but if you know what you want it is very easy to handle.

It's great on 1001 maquettes, there's a really wide choice! The models are quality. But 4 to 5 weeks delivery time: you'd think the branch was on the moon! The site is aware of this and tells you: week2: delivery has left week3: it's on its way week5: delivery !!! (e

The first impression is that you never feel like you're dealing with a machine, which is a good thing. Just like the systematic replies to the various e-mails you can send, which you can't afford to lose! The choice is wide, the site fairly well organized and the possibility of using Pay pal reassuring. However, wouldn't it be possible to indicate the paint references of the models on offer? That would be a great help, not to mention an additional selling point. I forgot: delivery companies employ wrestlers who have to fight with their parcels, given the state of the latter when they reach my hands! On the other hand, having understood the relative slowness of shipping, it would be a good idea, wherever possible, to give the recipient an estimate. This could prove important. Well packaged product. I regret that the list of paints, glues, etc. required for each model is not included in the description, so that I can order exactly the accessories I need at the same time as the model. This may be an improvement for the future. The dimensions of the model once assembled are not very clearly indicated - the table accessible via a link is very helpful.

I was looking for Decals for French planes and found my happiness on 1001 maquettes by chance on the Net, so I tried to place an order. After waiting for a normal delay, I was satisfied with the care taken with the shipment (solid bubble envelope, not folded!). I'll be back on the site and I recommended it to a friend who'd been scalded by the use of it.

I placed an order and my payment was accepted on November 24. Today is December 12 and I have just received half of my order from another customer for whom the product was not intended. So I'm missing 1 product out of two. So I'm disappointed! I'm going to place a new order at the beginning of January where I need various products, tools, brushes, paints and models. I hope to have better luck as I find your site very attractive and clearly presented. No hard feelings, I'm still here and hope to become a customer.

Everything worked out well...initially. Then...there was nothing. No communication...nothing about my order. This went on for a good 2.5 weeks. I was getting worried. No tracking information at their website...etc. So I began to write them and say..hey! Where's my order? They wrote back apologetically and said it's in process. Well...after a few rounds of email...they came through! I received my order and I was happy about the expereince....especially the price. I chalked up the negative part of the experience as their growing pains. Definitely will use again.

I wanted to buy a miniature car on the site, but as a result I ended up with a remote-controlled car, which was not specified in the product description. So disappointed I didn't send the product back because the shipping costs would have been at my expense.
