I discovered 1001 models by searching online and I must say I hit the jackpot! The online store is really very well laid out you can research the products we are interested in in a focused way all very quickly. They have a choice of both color models and ""aftetmarket"" really wide! The prices are very competitive but above all the kindness of the staff and the professionalism with which they act is really top notch. I ordered from 1001 Model Kits however my invoice came from 1001 Maquettes. The 7-9 day promised delivery schedule was not met the items advertised as being in-stock were not in stock. Response time for customer service inquiries was 2-3 business days this is very poor. I would not order from this company again nor would I recommend that anyone else do so. I cancelled my order which was never delivered. I did receive a full refund upon request.

I was particularly pleased with the selection of manufacturers from overseas and the former Eastern Bloc. The prices are okay, but when paying in advance it can sometimes be a problem if the main order number is not at the top. However, this is not a problem and the customer service is excellent. The delivery time is acceptable, only the high postage costs cannot (unfortunately) be changed. But that's no reason to deduct points.
