LONG DELAYS IN DELIVERY

I have ordered from this site several times. Delivery is always smooth. The wooden models are of very good quality and the final result is amazing (motorcycle, train, boat, catapult, helicopter-airplane, hot rod ...) in short, I recommend it.

A complete disaster in the whole order process.

Order came in good time but they sent a different bag which was completely the wrong one and then told me that it was the bag I ordered but a different colour which was not true, I did send pictures of the 2 styles but they were adamant that they were the same..

Fast shipping Large selection of games

2 orders and many problems because the site is full of misprints (references and prices on spray paints that are not good, in reality I received pots!!) 1st order with more than 100 € benefiting from free shipping!! BUT only on Mondial Relay delivery! Surprise! 8.5€ invoiced! 1st telephone contact a commercial gesture was granted to me. I kept the jars received to simplify the eventual return (if return I had to send photos of the jars received (hello trust) then wait for a return voucher to cover costs and new shipment when the return voucher is validated is returned scanned and returned to 1001hobbies, in short a hopelessly cumbersome! Ordered for €20 out of my own pocket to get the bombs, as they were more expensive than the jars. I called the store manager to ask her to send me bombs in similar shades, as not all the colors I received in jars were available. OK for me on condition of having the paint cans on Saturday morning by colissimo (everything was frozen on Thursday afternoon, but this condition was not respected because the parcel was taken in charge only on Saturday morning. I had asked for a parcel to be sent by chronopost but this was not possible. 1001hobbies does not work with chronopost but it is offered when you place an order (but as 1001hobbies had commercially offered me free postage this would have cost them around 20 francs. I have the feeling that this company is not rolling in money, being unable to spend 20€ to remedy their errors (not errors in the plural you read correctly) the store manager has to refer to his management for derisory sums. MORALITY: time wasted because I got my bombs within 8 days, 6 e-mails and 3 phone calls for only 2 orders!!!! To all modelers: before validating an order at 1001hobbies check everything (go to delivery options and there you'll see that delivery is free above 69€, BUT only in a relay point, if you order bombs in the spray paint section, check availability and the price displayed by contacting 1001hobbies by TLP, which is not normal. Another point: if you have a choice between TRUMPETER , REVELL and TAMIYA for the same model, don't choose TRUMPETER , the assembly instructions are useless and the parts to be painted are badly indicated. Best regards.

Not reachable by phone, emails are not answered. And after contact request there is still no contact. For a return.
1 delivery that was good was delivered nicely though and was good.

Communication in regards to the shipping was very poor. I was told it would arrive in time for my sons birthday and it did not. I was disappointed.

First positive experience, arrived in a reasonable time, the pity is not being able to track more accurately the product purchased but overall well.

I placed the order on July 6th and it has not arrived yet, it is August 9th, I am trying to get in touch via email but there is no way, I have sent 3 or 4 emails already and no answer, it seems that I have lost my money ordering here.

Very long delay. I was inundated with useless emails. The "gift packages" were ridiculous. Nothing professional about it.

Unable to deliver 1 box of soldiers in 1 72. Sent me 2 boxes in 1 35. Not serious at all. Not about to order, will go and see the competition.

Reasonable delivery times, although they could be improved, and perfect packaging.

Lots of choices, shipments on time but very disappointed with the products received. The metal earth models are too fragile and there are no replacement parts for small parts in particular. The parts to be bent break too easily in a few manipulations, they are small and fragile, even with tools, 2 ended up in the garbage and one is partially finished but missing an element that broke during assembly. What's more, the explanations are not at all clear. I've got one left, will it end up in the garbage can .... ?

large assortment, fast and problem-free delivery.

Package came from France to the United Kingdom in only one layer of bubble wrap as packaging, no box at all!
As a result my item, which was a collectors piece, was damaged very badly.
To add insult to injury they also taped my other item to the collectable items box, damaging it further.
I contacted them but have had no reply so far, I wouldn't recommend 1001 Hobbies.

Pity I didn't search the web before I bought it as I could have got it cheaper. But now for each model I think I would like to build I have googled them and if the model is not considerably cheaper for similar priced ones you can get them without paying postage. Sorry I will not use you again unless I am desperate and watch out for 2 month delivery

You advertise as 1001hobbies.co.uk but I had to pay import duties of £80.00

Wide choice of products. Good order tracking.

ordered 1 box of soldiers in 1/72 and received the same box in 1/35 twice after almost 3 weeks. Not serious at all, especially after being wrong 1 time and making the same mistake again. I'm not about to recommend your company and would like a full refund for my order.

Not much to say. Everything went well, even if my last question about my order went unanswered.

It was too small and in the picture it looked bigger.

Clear, coherent site, lots of items in stock ready for shipment. A wide choice of accessories and tools for model making and Gunpla, and we're looking forward to new Gundam and Transformers products very soon.
