bad experience model ordered for my child's christmas announced as deliverable on the site within 4 to 6 days. model never received. they don't have it in stock and clear their name by pointing to an error in information from one of their suppliers. I asked for a refund on december 1st. on december 8th, nothing arrived on my account. i e-mailed their customer service department (no phone number given) to find out how soon i would be refunded: no reply. i will not be ordering from them again. i'm sorry, but i'm not going to be reimbursed.

Excellent buying experience, good order tracking. Only regret is that delivery is not quicker.

Extremely slow shipping I have ordered quite a bit from 1001 in the past, but lately am very disappointed with them. They claim free shipping on orders over $200, but they charge anyway. That's dishonest. When called on it, they issue a voucher. Not exactly the kind of thing which evokes confidence. It usually takes about a month before they finally ship, even though everything is in stock at time of ordering. This current order was paid for on the 19th of last month, and still shows a 'being processed' status. They don't respond to my emails, and I even called them at (617) 849-9224, only to get a recording stating that they will respond to all emails promptly... another lie. Basically, sad to say this, but I don't have much confidence in them anymore. Terrible customer service, terrible wait times for shipping, and their prices aren't even that competitive.

I placed the order in Nov 13 and to date (Dec 03) I have not received anything the goods are reported shipped with DHL on 24112014 but the tracking is invalid. I have sent several emails to customer service but no one has deigned to respond. Will the goods arrive????

For 2 months now I have been waiting for my delivery which should have been delivered to me 15 months ago??! The particularly bad thing is that nobody from the company thinks it is worth the effort to even say a word in response to my requests. on november 08 i ordered 4 items (so the shipping is free) on november 24 i was told that one item was not available but that the order was going to be shipped i ordered something else with the coupon i paid the shipping! but anyway i haven't received anything yet! it's a shame because there's a lot of choice some prices are too expensive (paint) but fortunately this year i've planned large in.

I have been waiting for my order for 2 weeks. A week ago I was notified that my order was on its way. Nothing has arrived yet. Never again!

I waited 1 month to receive the goods and final surprise the order was missing an item paid 40 euros

Easy to browse a great selection even of items not easy to find decent prices and very fast delivery.

Complete source with long ship times. I live in an area that has no hobby outlets. The nearest is over 75 miles. I use on-line systems a lot. My problem is that the shipping cost from these outlets makes small items cost prohibitive. I purchased Humbrol paints from this site and found that items in my order had to be shipped from England to an Arkansas Distribution point to me.
