First order went very well, but the second was a total failure and I am now waiting for the second month for a refund.

I will never use this supplier again.
The website from which I ordered appears to be based in the UK, with a UK e-mail address and phone number. There was reference to the order being shipped from the EU thus perhaps causing delay. There was no mention of the fact that the company is actually based in France, and that there would be import tax and handling fees involved.
I simply can't do business with a company which behaves like this.

I ordered the Christmas present on December 10th after I called them and had to clarify my questions in an English-speaking phone call... Of course you have to pay in advance. Delivery should be within 7-9 days. When I hadn't heard anything by 20.12 I called. I had to make the call in English again because there was no German-speaking employee available. She told me that they were still waiting for part of the order, which would be delivered there on the 24th and probably sent to me on the 27th. I told them again that it was a Christmas present and that I had relied on the delivery details when placing the order. They commented on this by canceling the order and ending the conversation, even though I asked for the delivery. I then wrote to the company and was asked to decide whether I wanted to cancel or keep the order. I asked again for the parcel to be sent and to be told when I could expect it. On 30.12.21, they replied to me that they had arranged for the cancellation and wished me a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. I received the money back on 11.01.22. I absolutely cannot recommend this company to anyone.

It fits but improve the timing for the Swiss

As I'm still waiting for my order (since December), which was actually in stock and I now have to wait until April-May, I can't give it more than 1 star. I'm sorry!

Order cancelled 6 days after being placed because not processed and announced not processed before 10 days after order. Payment debited the day after order and refunded 21 days after cancellation!

I was able to find it easily

often a fraud - Roman trireme model NEVER available with changing prices not listed on the initial offer from these "dealers" (France for sure and Germany too! Also LONG "delivery time to string buyer along - definately buyer beware!!!

Poor quality item, aluminum nuts completely washed out, instead of a bright red, they are pink or almost white. Very ugly.

I tried to order something that they were supposed to have on the web but after waiting and waiting, it did not arrive. I was finally able to cancel the order and got my money back in full.

Products ordered on this site because marked as available, but more than 2 weeks later, still no parcel sent and products noted as out of stock...

Completely non-transparent ordering process. At no time was it clear when the delivery would take place. I was only promised a delivery date at the end of December when I asked by phone. No delivery has been made to date.

The item was in stock on the site but not physically, nor with their supplier for that matter. I've been waiting for a refund ever since. Unacceptable.

After two months, I have not received my order, nor have they answered my e-mails or refunded my money.

On-time and compliant delivery.

On 26/11 I ordered a product indicated as being the last in stock. The order was validated and the amount debited. On 06/12 I received an email informing me that I would be reimbursed. The same day I received an automatic tracking email telling me that the package was awaiting preparation. On 09/12 I received a message informing me that I had been reimbursed. On 13/12 I receive another automatic message indicating that the parcel is awaiting preparation. I contacted customer service who confirmed that the order had been cancelled and that I should ignore the other messages. On the website, the order remains in progress for several days. I was indeed reimbursed. On 14/12 I tried to contact 1001 hobbies on the telephone number given. No one picked up and an automatic message said they were closed, without specifying opening hours. In the middle of the Christmas season for a hard-to-find product, such inaccuracies in follow-up communication don't necessarily make you want to place another order. Significant progress still needs to be made in terms of customer relations.

The package arrived damaged a bit too bad

Only received part of my order, via email I can't get contact with the store. Never have I had an experience so bad with an online store. Should 1001hobbies read this, I would like to receive the rest of my products, or get my money refunded for these products.

I cancelled my order and I still have not received my refund.

It didn't fulfill my order, gave a refund eventually but never answered one of my e-mails

Had to pay £68.51 extra on delivery above cost of order. No reply from 1001 hobbies when questioned, no mention of additional cost on ordering. Delivery company UPS don’t accept cheques ( still legal tender ) not happy with whole thing

Because, products on sale on your site, while you do not have them in stock. I placed an order on 18/12/2021. And you told me to wait for your supplier to deliver the product. Which apparently was itself out of stock. This is unacceptable. I want my parcel delivered this week. Or my money back. CDLT

I can't give an opinion yet because I still haven't received the product.

hello, nothing to say about 1001 hobbies but about the carrier, the parcel was complete with several broken parts. these were thrown loose in the box, finally disappointed by this first shipment.

Very dissatisfied with this site. I did not receive my order. The private parcel company said that I was absent on the day of delivery, which was totally untrue, especially as this is a medical practice with a secretary. Since then, the delivery service has sent the parcel back to 1001 hobbies and tells me that there's nothing more they can do. And no news from 1001 hobbies despite my emails. They are impossible to reach. And of course I've had no refund either.

Found the site difficult to navigate, once I had located an item , I found it difficult to find again. The description of a lot of items is too breif , hence me paying the price for a kit wich I assumed would be cast alloy pieces but it turng out to be cheap plastic(?) bits . Once order placed I found out it was coming from France which took about 2 weeks but was kept informed (even received a email few days after I had got it to say it was still on its way) .
When it arrived ,I thought it must be a empty box ,it was so light. I opened the very well made box to find a few plastic bags containing the parts which mostly looked very delicate . This turned out to be true as the were also very brittle and broke very easy. I proceeded using the broken parts as best I could but when a major part broke in two ,enough was enough and the whole lot went in the bin - a expensine mistake.I feel this company wants to improve its quality control and stop selling kits such as this(Fordson Tractor Big) for a rediculous high price .

Goods marked as available while they don't have it in stock instead, very long delivery time, as of December 27 I still don't receive my order and I don't know what happened to it! I will never buy from them again!

Ordering was simple and easy, payment was simple and easy, that's it. I ordered on 13.12., no delivery has arrived to date, no response to emails. A pity really, I was actually quite convinced.

after 20 messages of double payment for an order of which I got only 1 refund I gave up and just accepted my loss of 250 euros

Hello, the airflow valve is a bit expensive, but it allowed me to build myself a nice little installation with a PS259 gunze, which I would have bought on your site if I had found it .

It allowed me to place an order for an item you never actually had in stock. It took over a month with me finding ways to message the company about my missing order, until I received notice it was out of stock. I had already put a dispute in with my credit card company, letting them know I had not heard from the company nor received any response from them. The credit card refunded me my funds and I immediately ordered somewhere else and received that item less then a week later.

I haven't received my order and I haven't received my refund, so I'm going to take legal action against you.

The customer service is terrible. I ordered something that never shipped, and I emailed them after weeks of waiting only to find out that the item is permanently out of stock. I asked for a refund, and they never gave me one. I had to file a claim with PayPal to finally get my money back. It was a horrible shopping experience, and I'm very unhappy.
