Content of an e-mail sent by me to kontakt@1001modellbau on January 29, 2014 but not yet answered: Dear Sir or Madam, About an hour ago, the Italeri C47 Skytrain 1:72 model kit I ordered from you was unfortunately delivered by DHL in a miserable condition. A truck must have driven over it (see attached photos!). You can no longer build a model from this kit! Since I paid in advance via paypal including the transportation costs, I expect a delivery in proper condition. What happens now? I expect a reply e-mail from you immediately. With (still) kind regards Walter Schmölling I hope to receive a response here!

there were delays in delivery but these were communicated without being asked so as a customer you feel that you have been treated correctly - thank you again! gladly again!

On the whole, everything went well. One delicate etched part was slightly bent. It could have been packed a little more carefully and sturdily. But it's not a problem. I would be happy to order from you again.

Hello, since you're asking for my opinion, here it is: I'm surprised that I haven't received my order yet, since I've placed orders for similar products on other sites and they've already been delivered. On the other hand, I'd like to congratulate you on being much quicker than your competitors when it comes to direct debit. However, I hope that I'll be delivered, even if I won't be taking legal action for a small loss.

Nothing to say my orders were satisfied

After 1 month, still no order, despite confirmation by e-mail that the products had arrived in their warehouse. Dear Supplier Keep your commercial gifts it's not a price problem but a lack of respect for the customer. No exact information on the problem with the order tracking emails false an order from January 4 an arrival in your warehouses on January 12 (email sent by you) 3 times by phone you confirmed a departure the same day a written confirmation on the 22nd validating the sending of the order we are the evening of the 30th and no order delivered. NOTHING BUT LIARS AND THIEVES Placed my order for two items that were stated as in stock with a delivery in 10 days from their US store. After I finished with the PayPal payment I was sent a conformation email that stated the items were overseas and to expect 15 business days for delivery. The items would be sent to their US location and then mailed out from there. They stated that the process to arrive at their facility would take 7-9 days. Already being frustrated with being lied to I emailed the company on day 10 to find out the status of the order. Their response was ""It appears that two of the products you have ordered is unavailable and unfortunately we do not know when it will be again. Following your request, we will refund USD 48,49 on your credit card or Paypal account.""At no point did I ask for a refund nor was there ever a refund! I ended up having to open a Paypal dispute that was escalated to a claim which I was awarded the money. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS ONLINE RETAILER-THEY ARE NOTHING BUT LIARS AND THIEVES!

It should be said that the instructions will be in German and English, as they are very brief.

This is the first time I've used this company. I find the choice important and the service perfect. So to be continued

I received an auto-email telling me that my order had been processed and I would receive my order in 6 - 8 days. 10 days later I received another auto-email stating that my order had shipped and I would receive it soon. That was 11 days ago. It has been 3 weeks since ordering and still no sign of my product. I received my order from the other hobby shop 2 weeks ago.

I'm looking for models or I can spend several hours on it if any time you have it would interest me very much but otherwise your site super interesting and full of choice and delivery times fast enough I say a big thank you.

Products nothing to say. Delivery times not in accordance with what is indicated on the site. The products offered are not necessarily in stock contrary to what is indicated and no communication on the part of 1001 maquettes on this subject which makes your order stall without explanations of their initiative. It is supplied after contacting customer service. Customer service rather good, good reception, acceptable responsiveness. Despite these rather annoying problems (order placed one month before Christmas which almost didn't arrive, a large part of the order not in stock, no refund, so I was forced to buy again on the site in a hurry, the order arriving a long time later), I think I'll recommend the company again.
