I find the site well constructed, with facilities for searching for models according to a number of different criteria. Order processing is fairly quick and without any major problems. A very good site for all budding modelers as well as novices in the field.

I ordered a birthday present and my request not to include an invoice with the package was answered and complied with. The model arrived safely after 10 days from France. I would have liked a slightly faster delivery. It is somewhat irritating that the store has both a German and a French site and the status mails are primarily in the correct language but occasionally in French. It was particularly irritating when you ended up in the French store after paying by credit card. But all in all, the order went very well.

I ordered a Ferrari Enzo (ref: 87775I) but received a plastic, radio-controlled Ferrari F430 (see photo). I called 1001maquettes to express my astonishment. They agreed to reimburse me but I had to pay for the return postage. Almost €13 in shipping costs for an order I would never have placed if the ad had been correct. You can see that the reference still shows an Enzo, even if after my call it was changed to specify that the vehicle is radio ordered and today it only specifies F430 (You can compare the site with the screenshot) I'm not satisfied and I don't recommend the site. On 2412 I place an order and the products are available. I choose colissimo delivery to be delivered quickly. On 4412 the website informed me that my order had been processed. On 9412 I still hadn't received anything. I sent them an e-mail to which 1001 maquettes replied that a product had been restocked! They don't warn me if I don't ask for anything!
