Having been let down by another company,I was grateful to be able to find a Christmas present in stock here. 1001 shipped my order promptly but Hermes took a very long time to deliver it 10 days!!! In addition the Hermes tracking system didn't really function well. For me to order from this company again they would need to change their delivery provider!

Counting from the day I made the purchase it has been 5 weeks that I have been waiting. This posting is as at 1700GMT on 25/12/20 in response to a request from 1001 Modelkits for a review. Current status is that my order, placed on 04/12/20, is yet to arrive. At the time of order it was claimed to be in stock but then delayed whilst stock was obtained. Email received on 18/12 stating it has been shipped but the Courier's status is still at ""We're expecting it"". Update at 29/12. Parcel arrived today in good condition. Recipient very happy with it. Changed title from ""Never getting further business with this kind of service"" and rating from 1star to 3 star. No higher because the initial ""In stock"" was not true and the length of delivery time prior to receipt by UK courier was excessive (although some of that may have been abnormal due to covid related port closures).
