I was looking for a part to finish my CC-01 Build. I came across 1001 Hobbies because their website said they had the part in stock. I placed my order and received my item in about three weeks. I would given 5 stars but the shipping company they use did not provide a tracking number only an estimated delivery date. My order came 5 days after my estimated delivery date. If you plan on ordering something from them just be patient. Also I believe they are located in Europe. If you're ordering from the U.S. like I did, it may take about three weeks to get your item.

I ordered a low-wind kite, not in stock when ordering, but it seemed ok to wait for a week. Somehow it seemed not possible to get it in a reasonable time. I had ordered an additional cheaper kite, on one hand it would make the delivery free, on the other hand the item could be a toy for my kid. I ended up only having the 'toy-kite' AND having to pay delivery cost. On top of that I had to 'yell' at them to get the full refund (minus delivery cost for the cheaper item I was much less interested in...). In summary not a satisfactory experience.

Shipping was very slow...The stickers were placed over the paint labels, and when I tried to peel them off they took the label away with them, so it was very difficult to work out which shades of color were which...otherwise, packaging was very good.

1001 was the only place I could get this product as no one else had it in stock, I was a little confused about my order coming from overseas, but it arrived in a reasonable time, the price was good and I was kept updated regarding the delivery. I am pleased to see on their website that they stock AMT car kits, some of which are actually in stock, the prices on these mean I shall be placing orders for them shortly.

My pre-order became an order, I received my product very late despite being assured that my product was in stock. In the meantime, the price of the product had dropped by 2 cents (a difference of €100), and I was assured of a refund, which took me 2 months to obtain. I received a broken 80€ figure. After I contacted them, of course, they wanted to give me a 15€ voucher (for a broken 80€ figure ???). Since I was not satisfied, they wanted me to absolutely destroy the figure and send a picture. Only then would I have gotten a new one, so I preferred to take the 15€ and fix the figure with some glue, but I have to say that the shipping and how it was packed was absolutely bad.
At least 3 stars because the support is nice and replies quickly
