My first experience with 1001 maquettes was a revelation. The way my order was processed and followed up step by step could not have been more efficient and reassuring. Ordered on November 6 and shipped on November 9, what more could I ask for? I'm confident that I'll use this company for my next order. However, uncertainty and impatience set in with increasing weight as the days following shipment passed. The contrast between 1001 maquettes and the delivery company is considerable. Total silence, not the slightest information on delivery times, even approximate, even though a computerized system would certainly make this possible. I'm a bit disappointed, but the problem was solved fairly quickly. For example, regarding the stock on the website. I ordered an item which was available in stock but which was not dispatched within a few days as indicated. But I'd still recommend them, as the team did their utmost to sort it out, and many thanks for the wide choice of good quality models.

I placed the order on a Sunday in the evening. I selected ""prepayment"" as the payment method. On Tuesday afternoon, less than 48 hours after placing the order, I received an e-mail from the retailer with a payment reminder. With all due respect, I think it would be appropriate and fair if the retailer gave the customer a little more time to process the payment, even with prepayment. After all, the usual bank transit times must also be taken into account. In return, the retailer did not seem to be in a particular hurry to send the goods, especially when the money is already in his account. Although a delivery time of only a few days was stated, delivery took almost two weeks. Only a friendly reminder to deliver the goods now got things moving. The retailer then sent the goods by DHL parcel. However, the item I ordered was flat and fitted into an A-4 envelope without any problems. It could therefore also have been sent by maxi letter (with the option of registered mail). Firstly, this would have saved shipping costs and secondly, I wouldn't have had to sacrifice an entire day waiting for the parcel carrier. Unfortunately, I cannot yet provide any information about the item itself as the construction of the Bismark is not expected to take place until spring 2018.
