having ordered 2 assembly kits one was intact while one was missing pieces I asked for the missing pieces to be shipped but never received a response if they had answered my question or complaint I would have also given 5 stars because the site is very detailed and fast.

I don't know what happened to my cheque. I sent it the same day as my order and it arrived the day after I received an e-mail saying that you hadn't received it, 10 days after I sent it. Poor communication My order has been processing for nearly three weeks without any firm contact from 1001 Model Kits. The only e-mails I have received are three copies of OTHER buyer's requests for shipping updates and a copy of an inquiry I made before ordering - and that was never responded to - plus it now refers to a product I didn't ask about. All these e-mails seem to automated responses. All I ask for is an e-mail - preferably from a real person - letting me know that my order is in stock and it will be shipping soon . UPDATE: I finally received my order from 1001 Models - nearly two months after my order was placed and paid for. Communication was better over the last few weeks but still below expectations. I can accept delays but only if I'm informed of them. I was still getting comments in my account that had nothing to do with my order.

A little extra would be to include the paint references for each model in the description, so that you can color-coordinate them and order both the model and the paint you want at the same time.

On 070915 I placed an order for 2 sheets of decals with the little green logo ""in stock&available within 24h"". It was put into the distribution circuit (priority mail) on 140915 (green logo !!!!) and the envelope arrived on 210915. Fortunately it was priority mail. Bravo la poste!

my order was carried out as quickly as possible, with reliability and a real concern for quality. But what sets 1001 maquettes apart is the step-by-step e-mail communication: order received, package ready, dispatch soon to be dispatched, etc. This is how you reassure and finally satisfy your customer.

Order has been sitting in the ""Being Processed"" state now for over 2 weeks after I've been charged. No updates, no back ordered notifications, NOTHING. About ready to file a claim with PayPal on this one. Be wary of this company's order fulfillment time.
