Not overwhelmed by the experience! I ordered a 1/72 Italeri fast build M7 Priest/Kangaroo kit. I only considered the order because of not being able to find this kit elsewhere. I feel that the price even though it was 'on sale', was still a very premium price compared to similar kits. I accept the fact that a higher price may reflect its rairity. I expected to receive the kit in about a week to 2 weeks, it ended up being close to 4 weeks. Customer service was available, if not at time a bit spotty. I must say they did try to keep me in the loop. I did get a shipping tracking number which was very nice. Once I received the kit, the box was a bit banged up, had a few pieces loose in the box off the sprue, and had no assembly instructions nor the decals that the box front said should be included. At present, I don't know if I would order from 1001 ModelKits again.

the prices are a little more expensive than elsewhere I thought the quality was up to scratch but ....not to mention paying 8.90 postage to receive my purchases in a vulgar envelope there's some sloppiness. Ordered on a Saturday evening, arrived on Thursday morning, a far cry from the 48-hour delivery time. I wouldn't recommend this site: too expensive for the same products as elsewhere, transport time too expensive and too slow.

It's a shame to have to wait several months for delivery. It's also a shame not to be able to get your money back if you're not satisfied, as is the case with most e-businesses.

2 weeks to be delivered when I paid 10e60 more for a 48h delivery. Certified as having arrived on time. No reimbursement of Colissimo charges. After-sales service hides behind their carrier not to refund a cent. Bad experience. I'm even going to give them a very bad publicity. Ina

good models, lackluster service, long wait times. This was a less than pleasurable experience due to the lengthy delivery time - 27 days. My order was processed immediately and charged almost immediately on my credit card, this after the shipping rates were raised for some reason to a different price, which was higher than the quoted price when I pressed the button to complete my order. I was upset at that incident for days after the order. A week later, after filing an inquiry twice online, received a message that I would receive a voucher for the difference in price...I'll never use it, but why not just make the adjustment on this order Poor customer service in my opinion. I received no info or updates until the item was shipped in this country, three weeks later, from the post office tracking. Parcel arrived with some damage to the side of the box, with damage to one of the model boxes inside...but thankfully the model was not harmed. I find it amazing that there was no packaging or filler inside to protect the items inside the box, as with other model companies with every shipment. I order something from the next state over and the box has newspaper, Styrofoam peanuts, plastic bubble rap...something! But something comes from France and no filler whatsoever...hmmm. I'm not impressed with the service, but the price was better than some places here, however, I will never use your services again.

I have ordered 2 times and they have never met the delivery date. Currently as of January 12th I have not received an order dated December 26th, having paid for a 5-6 day shipment, they should reimburse the price of that shipment.

Unfortunately my first order on 1001 maquettes wasn't a very serene one, as it was placed more than 10 days before Christmas and didn't arrive until Christmas day, with no real indication of why it had been ordered.

I am very disappointed by the site 1001 maquettes. I ordered a model of an aston martin on Friday afternoon at 5pm and the order was dispatched immediately. Having no news about the parcel a week later I contacted them and was informed that in fact they did not have it in stock! I was offered an alternative solution to the product, but it didn't suit me. So I asked for a refund. A week later I'm still waiting... in short they're very quick to debit but on the other hand updating their stock informing their customers and refunding them there's work there! 29-12-2014: still nothing on my account... 30-12-2014: that's it...thanks

Not only were the shipping charges higher than they should have been for such an item (and higher than their website advertised) but to take at least three weeks to arrive is unacceptable. I could have purchased from a company in Australia that I've bought from before and had it here in a week. Really disappointed. 12/30 - still have not arrived. Cancelling order.

I ordered a model car on 30112014 we are 12122014. So I'm disappointed with the delivery time but I can't say anything about the model because it's still not ready.

I ordered a model with delivery between 3 and 5 days in a relay point and I had to wait practically 15 days and no way of contacting anyone verbally to find out what was happening, whether it was 1001 maquettes or the carrier. The site sent me an e-mail with an offer of free delivery for my next order, even though I hadn't received my first order.

I waited 17 days for my order not 5-7 days as stated. I am disappointed .

Actually I only wanted to give one star but rude (if you don't want to call a reply to my emails that) then yes, but the service is really not worth more than two stars. Paid both times in advance via PayPal for figures in 'stock' according to the list (why then 2-3 weeks delivery time) and received no credit for the undelivered package in the first order. The same with the second order, but this time at least a credit note on the account. Nevertheless, I don't see the point in continuing to finance these poor logistics in advance. This is simply too little for today's standards and I will definitely look around for other options, even though the range is huge (apparently too extensive), hence the lousy logistics

The site provides a wide choice, the best of all the sites I know. But what a hassle: 10 to 20 day delivery times No reply to emails No telephone number to contact them Refund by credit note which obliges you to buy something else Expensive prices compared to the competition What a pity with more application and rigor in their operation and reasonable delivery times I think this would be one of the best sites in the world.

The impropriety is due to the fact that if they cannot honor an order they do not return the money but create a ""voucher"" of equal value. My opinion is that this is unacceptable. The unreliability is due to 1) an item that appeared to be on hand but was not (see above) and 2) a series of emails stating an order was ready when it was not. Unavailable because they do not respond to messages on their own site and if they do they respond generically without having read the content. Conversely they also arrive 4 consecutive emails to all say that a product has been shipped. As an aggravation after the first order I had warned that they would be ""under observation"" at the next one (which I MUST have placed because they would not return my money) and they behaved exactly the same way. The two stars because in the end MUCH AFTER THE EXPECTED DATES but the items actually available arrived to me.

After ordering products advertised as available, I received an e-mail informing me that out of 5 products, only one was in stock and that I had to wait for a supplier to deliver the others! No information at the outset on the failure to meet the deadlines announced on the site. Announcing that a product is available when it isn't is bordering on misleading advertising... My credit card was debited immediately! If I'd known, I'd have ordered from another site... which I'd probably do now. BIG DISAPPOINTMENT.

Need do have stock ready to send out from USA Probably can get it faster from a US or UK dealer. Order took 3 weeks to arrive. Got similar from New York in three days.
