I received the model I had ordered, but what a surprise it was. A huge box (impossible to put it in the passenger seat of a Mégane) with the model inside the papi""calÃ"" and all the accessories (paint glue brush) in bulk. When I picked up the package (with my arms around me), despite the imposing packaging, it made a rather worrying bling bling noise. But no breakage. OUF The package can be reduced by at least 5 sizes and the various components wedged and over-wrapped with paper.

This is a very good site, with lots of choice in different areas of model making. You know right away if the product is available. You'll find models that are hard to find from competitors. The decals supplied are of very good quality and were sent quickly. The only flaw was that the envelope was a little too short for the decal sheet and the decals were a little creased as a result. Otherwise everything was really great.

What made me decide to place an order with 1001 Maquettes was that they still had in stock some models (Italian aviation of the IInd G.M. from SMER) that were unavailable from the competition and even cheaper.
