Although 1001 maquettes has made a good recovery (almost daily order tracking after expressing strong dissatisfaction), this score reflects their inability to offer customers the real picture of their stock... And I'm not the only one to denounce this state of affairs. The money is cashed and you can wait several weeks for the stock to be updated... This is their downside. Another complaint (in comparison with a competitor's site) is their pricing... much higher than the competition's... To be reviewed To be aligned if we want to stay in the competition. Thanks Eric

Two slightly difficult experiences with a happy ending: my orders were for items stocked by 1001 maquettes suppliers and which were out of stock. After exchanging messages with Hugo and a phone call with the same friendly Hugo, my orders were delivered. All in all, very satisfied with the products purchased and the handling of the incident. Correct delivery, perfect packaging. I still have full confidence in 1001 maquettes, which will no doubt be firmer with suppliers where a party is bound by a contract.

- On 1301 I placed an order with 2 items + 8 paints. 1st problem: one of the 2 items was unavailable and I had to contact the after-sales service to find out! By the way, it's not easy to find an e-mail address for complaints on the site (a phone number yes, an e-mail address no). - So on 1002 I received a partial parcel with 1 item + 8 paintings. 2nd problem: the item in the parcel wasn't the one I'd ordered! So I had to contact the after-sales service again to send back the wrong item. - On 1501 I received the parcel with the item that was unavailable. No problem. - So today (1802) I'm still waiting for the parcel with the right item. Summary: for a single order 3 parcels with a return, all spread over at least 6 weeks. I would find it hard to recommend your site, even if the after-sales people are reactive.

Suggestion on packaging improvement. Communications were excellent. Shipping time was good. The quality of the item-decal set for an airliner-is very good. The decal set is very complete. The painting diagram is a plus. The set came inside a zip-lock bag. My only complaint and why I gave only four (4) stars is that the packaging could be improved: There is creasing damage to one part of the decals. I think this will still apply OK but time will tell. Not trusting to only a padded envelope but adding a piece of card stock inside the envelope would be a way to reduce possibilities of postal services transit damages.

My last two orders were very good both in quality and speed. But the previous order never arrived. I communicated it to 1001 maquetas but they never gave me any solution.

Good registration and dispatch times, but logistically too long for order preparation: from January 12 to 18 for a 2 kg parcel (4 pcs).

Model delivered promptly. Compared to the price, the content (spare parts, quality...) is average. The assembly manual is not very good. The assembly descriptions are incomplete and the few photos are of poor quality. There isn't enough wood to finish the deck formwork, even though I've kept offcuts to a strict minimum. In short, average value for money.

No complaints about the products, but it took a long time to receive my order (2 weeks).

I order the paints and everything works fine. Then I get an e-mail telling me that one of the paints is missing and they give me a credit note (not a refund!) I get another e-mail, the paint is back in stock and I can recommend it and use my credit note... I recommend it and then, surprise, I'm charged shipping again (7.99€), which is a lot of money for a can of paint (plus I can't find where to use the credit). The next day, I see that they've assembled the 2 orders, but they didn't take away the 2nd shipping charge. But the funniest thing was that I received my parcel without the famous missing paint. no explanation, but the person was very kind and re-sent the order, which I hope will arrive soon. Moderately happy with my purchase which is for a gift. The same product offered at two prices with almost 10 euros difference but only the more expensive one I finally bought was available to receive before Epiphany. The packaging arrived a little damaged and even produced a dent in the box of the model so they should improve the quality of the cardboard used. Good general catalog of this type of products. It is possible that I will buy again but I would like them to resolve these deficiencies.
