The real irony is the North American importer for Aber lives a mile away but was out of stock at the moment. The delivery speed was resonable with no undue Customs hiccups coming across the Canadian border (and minimal snow delay as well). Ordered on 10.01. Confirmation of receipt of payment on 12.01. (so far great!) but only on 17.01. the notification that the items have been shipped. This is ok so far but not a top value. I'd like to add a little something to my assessment. I've just read a number of comments and I've noticed that customer service very often tends to blame the end-of-year festivities for delays. However, as far as I'm concerned, my order was placed after the festivities and delivery still took 15 days.

After a few stomach aches regarding orders from abroad, my negative expectations were not confirmed.
