I was told my item wasn’t available two day post purchase. They offered me a similar item and told me I would not pay the balance. We thought it was a good gesture. However the item they sent was on sale for the same price. So we did think we where mislead. Then it took days to post abscess held up st customs because it didn’t have the proper paperwork. When it did arrive it had one wrap of bubble wrap ! Just one layer fir a 10kg item that had done electrical components. Poor show 1001 !

Order returned on 24/02/2022 and I'm still waiting for an exchange!

No response to my emails. Only response in French language. Why no Dutch language on my e-mail? I do not know if I received the right flight simulator, I have contact here with Ikaris. Waiting for message from Aerofly, if not good, then back to 1001 hobbies.nl.

Avoid this site!

Accepting orders that you don't have in stock creates problems. This has happened to me twice now.

Bof bof... out of 4 items ordered, finally some are out of stock, I replace them then finally I receive only half in my parcel, it's sent back again 1x. In short, I won't be coming back to this website.

way too long delivery time

Product ordered in stock then finally reassorted, then reassortment date postponed... No comm and as luck would have it the order was sent without infoquant to the undelivered product on the same day as the cancellation request.

Ad claimed the model was 1/400 scale instead I received a 1/700 scale

When you place the order, they give you an idea of how long it will take depending on the chosen option. Then it turns out that this is not the case, not even by approximation. Tell the truth, period.

It took me a month to receive my order.

I RECEIVED MY SECOND ORDER BUT HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY FIRST ORDER WHICH WAS MADE ON JANUARY 25. I WAS TOLD MY FIRST ORDER WAS SENT ON JANUARY 28 AND TO EXPECT DELIVERY ON FEB 10 THRU 15. THAT WAS NOT TRUE. I WAS ADVISED MY FIRST ORDER WAS SENT OUT LAST WEEK (MARCH 1) BUT I HAVE BEEN UNABLE TO TRACK IT. DON'T KNOW WHAT TO BELEIVE. AT THE END OF FEBRUARY I SENT AN E-MAIL TO 1001HOBBIES REQUESTING THAT MY ORDERS WERE TO BE CANCELLED AND MY PAYMENT REFUNDED. I WAS NOTIFIED A FEW DAYS LATER THAT MY SECOND ORDER WAS SENT OUT FOR DELIVERY AND A FEW DAYS AFTER THAT WAS TOLD THAT MY FIRST ORDER WAS SENT OUT. THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I HAVE HAD A PROBLEM WITH ANY ON LINE HOBBY SHOP PURSHACE. I DON'T THINK I WILL BE USING OR RECOMMENDING 1001HOBBIES IN THE FUTURE.

My parcel took too long to arrive. The first time was the deliveryman's fault, and even though the store was kind enough to send it back to me (that's why I'm giving you 2 stars and not 1) they weren't at all attentive to me. They kept telling me that it was promised that the parcel would arrive in a few days, but I just kept waiting and the parcel never arrived. I really missed the communication from the store. I had the impression that they didn't care and each person told me a different story. Up until the third week, no one told me that the delay was because you didn't have it in stock. If you'd given me this information beforehand, I'd have been more relaxed, but no, every day the answer was: don't worry, the parcel will arrive within 3 days. And so I waited 3 weeks.
Once I called for 1 hour and nobody answered. I understand that you can be busy but at least if you saw the calls, you could call me afterwards or send me an email to reassure me and tell me where my parcel is.
The handling was very bad, which is a shame, because I have very bad memories of this purchase. This purchase was a real nightmare.

The purchased kit (Amerigo Vespucci) with a price of over 1400€ is also available for 999€. Even if the seller is not responsible for the contents and quality of the kit, it is very much to be criticized that the deck planking, although described as walnut, is not walnut, that the included mahogany strips are not sufficient (I have already built many ships, also in museum quality, and have no above-average waste) and that the plans are somewhat often contradictory. Without really profound experience in building sailing ships, you can quickly despair. At least I received a voucher for 5 (in words: five) euros after a purchase of 1480€. There can be no complaints about the purchase process. But once again as a final assessment. 1001Hobbies is not responsible for the content and quality of the kit and the plans, but it is responsible for the clearly overpriced sales price.

I did not receive the correct item ordered, I am waiting for a return proposal but free of charge.

Order too long to arrive

The items received perfectly and according to what was ordered... except one of them that was not in stock... the score is so low because instead of giving me back my money paid for the undelivered item... they give me a voucher, and that seems to me not correct... I have complained and asked for a refund but they haven't even responded to me.

part received but does not fit on the hpi 4.6 engine. launcher support much too wide. the engine had already been ordered from you and I had no problems. as soon as I can move (herniated disc surgery) I will do as quickly as possible to return the package. thank you for your understanding.

Delivery took 17 days, when in theory it should have taken 3 (all products were in stock).

Incredibly slow delivery time. Paid for express shipping (max. 1 week) and recieved my order a month and a half later. The order tracker and invoice stated all the items were packaged however there was an entire kit missing. Not impressed whatsoever. Don't buy from this site.

Haven't received me stuff yet and the Track and Trace is not working so far order placed on the 18-01-2022 and it is now the 8-2022 a month later.

I give 2 stars because the box was damaged I am disappointed

Large selection of many different items, which can be a little confusing. Prices are fair, even if sometimes a little more expensive than elsewhere, but the choice makes up for it. Delivery costs are quite high, especially when the item is not available immediately, when you have paid for 48-hour delivery and then find out by chance on the order summary e-mail that the item is not available for 2 weeks 🤔 and above all no information from the site about a possible delay. Otherwise we re-ordered outside the holiday periods and the delivery and deadline was respected.

For my first order it's almost a fiasco.5 products ordered because in stock on the site and only 3 delivered and that 15 days after the order. Far from the 5 to 7 days indicated. It was almost impossible to contact me by phone in the morning or in the afternoon to find out what had happened to my order. On the 12th day I had a contact person who told me that the 2 missing books had arrived and that my order would be dispatched the same day. Now I have a credit on my account and I don't know if I'll have to pay postage again if I use this credit to buy other books. E-mail exchanges don't lead to much and I must admit I'm pretty disappointed at the moment. BR

very disappointed with the order where the products (color) did not meet my expectations. the color contained in the jars was either very thick, bordering on usable, or completely hardened, and therefore unusable.

Extremely disappointed. Ordered ten days before Christmas, I paid the full price to have the guarantee of receiving my package in time .... but Chronopost decided to return the package to sender for no reason!
So I called 1001hobbies, who offered to return the parcel to me as soon as they received it... I finally received my parcel, more than 3 weeks late, but above all with the model without the starter kit initially requested.
There was no commercial gesture, and I had to ask again and again to be reimbursed at least the difference in price between the model initially ordered and the one finally received!

My order was not honoured and I had to ask for a refund several times.

Different product as advertised. Not the old die cut kit which I wanted. The newer laser cut kit was send.
