The appearance of greenish color is usually not due to a defect in the jug, but to a natural phenomenon that can occur when chlorine-free water remains stagnant for several days, especially in hot weather or if the jug is near a source of light or heat. It is a similar effect to what can be observed in ponds or containers with stored water for a while.
To eliminate it, we recommend performing a deep cleaning with a small amount of diluted bleach in water, letting it act for a few hours and then rinsing the jug thoroughly.
Additionally, to prevent its appearance, we advise performing a weekly cleaning of the jug. If you also observe whitish residues on the walls, you can use a mixture of warm water and vinegar in equal parts, letting it act for a few hours before rinsing. This helps to eliminate mineral deposits and restore the shine of the product.
We regret that our instructions did not meet your expectations, but this is the usual recommended procedure for this type of situation.

The jug with its filters is one of the most solidly backed products with the clearest benefits that we have been able to acquire in many years. The taste of the water is noticeable and with the alkalinity drops there is nothing to discuss, making it clear what it does, and comparing it with tap water and water filtered by another jug of the commercial brand we all know.
