It is completely normal and natural for charcoal particles to remain in the water. Our filters are made solely of natural products: 100% natural coconut vegetable charcoal and magnesium. We import the coconut charcoal directly from Mexico, and we do not alter the nature of the material.
Due to its state or even due to the transportation of the material, the charcoal may be more broken and crumbled and release more charcoal particles, and even stain the water black. Other times, if its state is more compact, it releases less but it is normal for it to always release black particles due to what we mentioned, because it is an ecological product without any type of chemical treatment.

I think it is a very high-quality product but if you have a sensitive stomach, it may not sit well. The truth is that it is nobody's fault, but I bought it and had to stop drinking the water because of how all those minerals sit in my stomach. Now I am considering whether to buy another different filter, the green one, which I also don't know how it will sit with me.
