Well water filter and I am close to the beach, my jug has started to have sandy brown residues at the bottom, and they tell me they are minerals from the water, it seems like sand to me! Also, the kettle fills at the bottom with white residues and also in suspension, and again they tell me they are minerals, I believe some of it about the kettle but not about the jug, the residue is sandy and does not dissolve like in the kettle. It is normal and completely natural for the filter to release some little bits of carbon. Alkanatur filters are made solely of natural products: 100% natural coconut vegetable carbon and magnesium. We import coconut carbon directly from Mexico, and we do not alter the nature of the material. Due to its state or even due to the transportation of the material, the carbon may be more broken and crumbled and release more carbon bits, and even stain the water black.
