It demineralizes the water.

Thank you for your feedback and for your purchase. Our jug does not demineralize the water. It removes toxins, but not the natural minerals from the water. Additionally, it adds magnesium, so it still mineralizes more. With the pH reagent included in the pack, you can test the pH between the filtered water and tap water, or for example, bottled water and see the differences. Overall good, but I have been using the jug for a year and there are residues stuck at the bottom that cannot be cleaned. I do not know if it is magnesium or residues of carbon from the filter. I have tried soaking it with vinegar and baking soda with no results.

We did not like the taste of the water. It's a shame because we had high expectations due to the amount of studies it had and the good comments, but none of the family liked the taste. I understand that taste is a very subjective matter, but it is sad to buy a product and not end up using it because it does not meet your expectations.

I liked everything except that it forms limescale very quickly and releases quite a few carbon particles from the filter. So it needs to be cleaned every two or three days.
