When putting the lid on the jug, the water filling spout is slightly raised. This is due to the pressure that the vessel exerts on the entire upper lid assembly. One more thing: if I overfill the jug, when pouring water into a glass, the unfiltered water that remains before the filter comes out through the filling spout.

The jug with its filters is one of the most solidly backed products with the clearest benefits that we have been able to acquire in many years. The taste of the water is noticeable and with the alkalinity drops there is nothing to discuss, making it clear what it does, and comparing it with tap water and water filtered by another jug of the commercial brand we all know. I would sell this jug and its filters simply because they work.

“Alkalinizing” the water, a term invented by this brand, is useless. Scientifically speaking, it is like Brita or so many other jugs. It improves the taste of water a lot, but it does not improve your health.
Translated reviews
Response from Alkanatur
Hello, Alfonso:
Thank you for sharing your opinion.
We want to clarify that Alkanatur is not just a jug that improves the taste of water. Our filters reduce substances such as chlorine, certain heavy metals, and other compounds present in tap water, in addition to providing minerals like magnesium.
Regarding alkalinity, this occurs naturally during the filtration and remineralization process of the water. On our website, we have studies, analyses, and certifications that explain in detail how our filters work and the characteristics of the obtained water.
We understand that there are different opinions on this topic and we respect all of them. In any case, we regret that the product did not meet your expectations.
Best regards,
