I am not at all surprised by your rating and review, given the email you sent me following the first delivery attempt by DPD, I take your public note and comment as a provocation.
I remind you of what you wrote to me:
Good evening
I ask you to refund my order and cancel it
I will not be delivered
Not being able to be present for the delivery, I followed the protocol on their site with a photo from the road and a specification of where to drop off without a signature
The delivery person came on site, called me, arguing that he did not have a photo of the delivery point, he did not want to specify exactly where in the hamlet he was which would have allowed me to guide him by phone. He eventually found the requested delivery location himself but preferred not to deliver
I assume his conversation is recorded.

I asked DPD for explanations following your email and here is their response:
Hello Mr. Ammerlaan,
I am following up on the exchanges regarding the delivery of your package No. 10224001338675.
I just spoke with the concerned driver.

He indicates to me that when he arrived in the hamlet on Wednesday, he contacted Mr. Tonin for details about the address. He tells me that the exchange went poorly, the recipient would have refused to guide him, believing that it was "his job as a driver to find the address and that he should manage".

As a result, he left with your package.

It appears that another one of our drivers also indicates having had tumultuous exchanges with your client.

I just contacted him personally to get details about the situation and it turns out that he does not want any exchanges or contact with the DPD company.

We have agreed to ensure delivery tomorrow, at the requested safe location, without contacting him by phone, at his request.

I suggested that you have it delivered to a parcel relay as the delivery site is poorly indicated, but that was OUT OF THE QUESTION for you, and when I advised you to put up directional signs in your locality then...
So if I could give you a rating it would be 1 Star
I confirm, we are not made to work together...
I invite you to find another supplier, as far as I am concerned.

Thank you for your feedback. We understand your frustration regarding the delivery time and we apologize for this wait.
The filters for your order were out of stock with our supplier but also at the factory, which caused an additional delay of 3 weeks beyond the announced timeframe of your order.
We are experiencing this type of delay just as you are; such delays remain exceptional.

Hello, I understand that you are not happy with the delay, neither am I, but when GEA does not deliver (due to lack of stock) I can't do anything about it, and I don't receive any commercial gesture from them. That said, to save you 1 to 2 weeks on the delivery time, I had your order sent directly from my supplier's warehouse to you, which cost me an additional 50 €, I did not charge you this extra cost, I probably should have informed you about this gesture (commercial). You didn't take up this offer and you didn't ask me for it, but in the shopping cart we already indicated this possibility with the following message: If you have items in your basket that are "on order or re-approved" and require several weeks delivery time, but also available items that you want to receive immediately (without waiting for all items to become available) you have the possibility for 5 H.T. to be delivered in 2 times, click on this link and add the item "additional delivery" in your basket and validate the order normally." It's a pity you didn't contact me before posting your review to simply ask me to take it back under warranty, especially as you bought original Delaval MP300 probes. Following our exchange I await your return of the faulty probe.

I'm really sorry for the delay in the delivery of your parcel, there are several reasons for this 1- your order would have left on Thursday if we weren't moving to our new depot, the time indicated for your cover seal is 24/48 hours, it did leave within the time limit (Friday) and you should therefore have been delivered on Saturday 3rd March by TNT ... 2- because of the bad weather (snow) during the week, all transport was delayed by 1 to 2 days, which is why you were delivered on Tuesday 6th. Too bad you didn't indicate that it was urgent, we would have sent your order as a priority on Thursday !!! I hope your future experience with us will be better than these 2 unfortunate stars ...
