We are sincerely sorry to learn that the tread of your tire has opened during mounting, revealing the internal structure (steel band). This situation is absolutely not normal.

This tire usually receives excellent quality feedback. It is very likely that this is an isolated manufacturing defect which, although rare, can unfortunately occur.
