The lenses you ordered are indeed category 3 polarized lenses, which corresponds to the level of protection most commonly used for daily use (bright light, driving, outdoor activities).

There is no half-category between category 3 and category 4.

Category 4, on the other hand, is reserved for very specific uses (high mountains, extreme conditions) and is not authorized for driving, for example.

All our polarized lenses are systematically tested before shipping.

If you want to check the polarization simply at home, here is a quick test:

look at a screen (phone or computer) through the lens

then rotate the lens 90° and the screen should darken significantly: this is a sign that the polarization is indeed active.

In some cases, it may happen that the selected reference does not exactly match the specific model of the frame (the same frame may exist in several sizes or very close variants), which can indeed lead to a slight play of the lenses.

In order to verify this together and find a solution, could you please send us a photo of the inside of the arm of your glasses, where the brand, exact reference, and dimensions of the model are generally indicated?
This will allow us to confirm compatibility or identify if it is a variant requiring a different lens shape.

Regarding the tint, the rendering of the mirror coating can indeed vary depending on the ambient light and the angle of view — it may appear more golden in certain lighting conditions. We invite you to try them again in natural light or outdoors to see if the rendering corresponds better to what you expected.

However, it is not normal to notice significant reflections inside the glasses, nor to have an uncomfortable vision. We place great importance on the optical quality of our products and specifically select our materials to provide a clear and pleasant vision. It is therefore possible that this is a manufacturing defect.
