What can I say, a site full of promises: great colors, nice materials, Chef de File seemed to have many assets except that... I have never experienced such sizing problems since I started buying cycling clothing! - I took my time to place my order, hesitating on my size for a winter jersey, I asked for advice via email, which was a good idea! Chef de File advised me to go up a size, so M: the Chef de File size guide, which I followed scrupulously, placed me between XS and S... I received a jersey that was too short and very tight, plus a sewing defect on the shoulder, let's move on... I returned it for an exchange for a size

In our records, you are only registered with one order, which we canceled after sending you an email explaining the reasons for this cancellation: a stock error that we could not honor because the product was unavailable. Very bad experience. A size chart that does not correspond to the size of the jerseys. For the return, costs at my expense, the guy explaining to me that I made a mistake, that the fabric is stretchy, finally a lot of nonsense. Photos and comparison with another jersey, taking measurements... No consideration for the customer! 5 euros for delivery and 6 for return! I will continue to buy from Ekoï, at least the size charts correspond to the sizes of the jerseys received. Even with Rion or Darevie on Aliexpress they cover the returns and the products are of excellent quality.

The size guide we have on our site and our size help page to select (https://chefdefile.com/pages/comment-choisir-la-taille-de-son-maillot) is also the one we provide to our clubs and events (about 15,000 short-sleeve jerseys per year). We know that we have products that fit closely to the body, which is why we recommend, in case of doubt, to go for the next size up. The measurements on the size guide should be taken on the person and not on the jersey, as the fabric that makes up our jerseys is stretchy and designed to fit each person's morphology and act as a second skin. The measurement you took on the jersey does not reflect the reality of the size to select. As for our return policy, it is also indicated on our site. Very good quality products but the photos and descriptions are not representative! Different color, short sleeve clothing not indicated in the product sheet and ambiguous in the photo. On the other hand, the canvas bag with the order is nice. The order arrived quickly. Too bad.

The products run small because it is the norm for a comfort and performance aspect to fit close to the body, and as we indicate on our size guide: 'Please note that these products fit very close to the body. Don't hesitate to take a size up if in doubt!'. It is in this sense that we advise people who want the jersey to be more 'ample' to go for a size up. Very long delivery time, 12 days... Shipping costs too high! No indication that the site and therefore the teams are on vacation on the website. It's a shame. I understand and it is legitimate to have vacations but maybe indicating it on the site would be worth considering.

The package being shipped from Monaco, we have additional transport costs (https://chefdefile.com/pages/livraison). For example, in our shipping policy, the transport costs are at our expense for an order similar to yours shipped within mainland France. We understand that the design of our marinière may not appeal to everyone and that is perfectly normal. However, on the product page of the jersey, there are images of the outfit in 3D as well as photos of the jersey worn that highlight the design and the traditional lines of the marinière reworked to give a breaking effect.
