The box was delivered open at both ends placed in the yard of the house lying against a wall, some baseboards have defects.

Hello, Did you contact customer service so that we can send a replacement? The carrier is at fault if they left the package in the yard and did not have you sign for receipt. You are therefore covered in case of a problem. If there are damaged moldings, please take photos upon receipt and send them to us so we can send new baseboards.
