Hello Philipp, thank you for your feedback. Your visit took place on the hottest day recorded in Nice in 23 years, an exceptional heatwave that affected the entire city centre. Our premises are ventilated rather than air-conditioned, as is the case with most luggage storage facilities, which suits dropping off belongings and using the back room. It is also one of the things that allows us to keep our rates among the most competitive in the area. That rate includes a large private locker holding up to 4 cabin bags with unlimited access throughout the day, a clean and well-kept shop in the heart of Old Nice, entry restricted to customers only under the supervision of our security team, and assistance available from 8am to 10pm, seven days a week. We have deliberately created a space where our customers can relax, change and stay as long as they wish, as you were able to do — something a standard luggage drop-off does not offer. We understand your disappointment, but we need to clarify one point: our luggage lockers are advertised as fitting 2 MEDIUM suitcases (67 x 44 x 27 cm), not 2 LARGE ones. This information appears on the booking page and on the signage in our shop.

Based on our records, your drop-off also involved 3 suitcases rather than 2, two of which did fit. As spacious as our lockers are, they cannot hold 3 medium suitcases.

For reference, here are the possible configurations for one locker: Up to 4 CARRY-ON suitcases (H.55 x W.35 x D.20 cm) OR Up to 2 MEDIUM suitcases (H.67 x W.44 x D.27 cm) OR 1 LARGE suitcase (H.76 x W.51 x D.28 cm) + Up to 2 CARRY-ON suitcases OR 1 EXTRA-LARGE suitcase (<85 cm) (H.81 x W.55 x D.34 cm)

You used a very large locker which was your private space for a full day + an elegant, clean and secure common area (the shop) to rearrange your belongings between your suitcases and change. This secure space is available every day from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., as is our support which is hyper-responsive. You paid 12 EUR for the full day during the PEAK season, for this large locker which can store several suitcases. I can assure you that this price is very controlled. We strive to offer a very low price, while providing quality service, despite very high demand from our customers, who book our lockers every day. Our luggage locker offer remains the most cost-effective solution in Nice, especially since the level of quality provided is very high. This is almost the price per bag that is charged in Nice in simple "luggage drop-offs" in the back of shops, while our locker offer allows you to store multiple items, in a calm, clean and secure place allowing you to make the transition when you arrive/depart from Nice.

We rent very large lockers at highly competitive rates, clean and located in a secure environment. These lockers can store a lot of luggage, but in your case, a dedicated room would have been necessary to store all your belongings, especially due to your 2 XXL checked suitcases. Although our luggage locker offer remains the most cost-effective and high-quality solution on the market in Nice, our lockers do not have unlimited capacity. We truly regret that you misunderstood the indication of “up to 4 CARRY-ON suitcases” as “4 CHECKED suitcases”. For your information, our lockers could hold up to 2 checked suitcases if they are medium-sized. We would like to remind you that, (next to the animation showing 4 cabin-size suitcases fitting in a locker) there is a link allowing you to view examples of what can actually fit inside. Locker and cabin bag dimensions are also provided to give you a quick and clear idea. You will also find photos of our lockers on our website, which help give a precise sense of what can be stored inside. In fact, the vast majority of our customers book the correct number of lockers in advance, with very few exceptions. Lastly, our support team is available every day of the year from 8 AM to 10 PM to assist you promptly if you have any doubts. Hello Hans, we are surprised by your feedback regarding the locker size not being correctly indicated. On the booking page, you can easily find the locker dimensions, photos with luggage, as well as an animation showing how four small cabin bags can fit, along with the expected dimensions for a so-called 'cabin' bag, which is an international standard (IATA size 55 x 35 x 20 cm / 21.5 x 13.5 x 7.5 inches). After reviewing your visit on our cameras, we noted that you had a medium-sized checked bag as well as a big-sized carry-on. These two bags could have easily fit together if placed flat. However, you positioned the larger bag upright, which left insufficient space for the second bag. Generally, for standard dimensions, our lockers can hold up to four cabin bags, OR two medium-sized bags, OR one medium-sized bag plus two cabin bags, OR one very large bag. There is usually even a bit of space left on the top or sides to fit some soft items, like a small backpack or jacket.
