Our sliders are made of zinc, they are very resistant to wear and different climates.
However, when using the wrong tools or forcing too much to install them (for example, if the size is too small and you force it), it can indeed damage the slider. Especially small sliders because the smaller an item is, the more fragile it will be and it should be handled with care.
That is why we recommend every customer who needs help with installation or choosing their product to call us or send us photos by email of the zipper to be repaired.

Meh, I lost money and time because I have to reorder another size 8C (I had taken 5C) Yet with the size chart (useful because scale 1/1) and with my caliper to measure the zipper of my broken suitcase ... I couldn't do it even with a lot of perseverance! IT IS NOT EASY AT ALL TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT TYPE WITH THE RIGHT SIZE OF ZIP!!!
