Products visibly of good quality if you know exactly what you are looking for!! the described use cases are far too limited, the 'configurator' was not suitable. In my case for the search of an eastpak pocket zipper there was no match in the configurator and the measurements are not obvious. A work on this subject seems useful to me. A user forum might be welcome

To replace a casing or a sleeve in good conditions, the 'fabric' to which the sleeve or casing is attached must be in very good condition. However, when one wants to replace a casing or a sleeve, it is generally because it has partially torn off and therefore this part, the part of the fabric to which it was attached, is damaged. But in this case, the replacement does not really solve the problem.

In the case where the fabric is damaged, we advise you to reduce your mesh by removing one or two teeth from the bottom of your zipper in order to start from a clean base where the casing and its sleeve can be properly fixed.

During my first order, following the instructions, I carefully measured the width of the zipper to be repaired - 5mm - and ordered the recommended slider - 3B - but upon delivery it turned out to be too small. I then ordered the one size up, 5B, normally intended for zippers around 6mm and it fits perfectly to my 5mm wide zipper. Perhaps the measuring instructions should be modified. I did see the warning 3B/5B but did not think I would be concerned having - I think - correctly measured my zipper at the starting point.

I succeeded but I had a lot of difficulties removing the old slider. On your site, you mainly show how to install the new slider but not how to remove the old one. The risk is to damage the stitches of the zipper.
