For the second time, a Mercury part number corresponds to a part that doesn't fit the little 2.5hp for which it was ordered.the first time, my "DAM" contact, after asking me for a photo, agreed that the part didn't fit and offered to send me a suitable part.the second time, another contact advised me to have a part machined if the one he had sent me didn't fit!!! I am very dissatisfied with DAM marine for a very specific reason: I bought a "low pressure high pressure pump" and a "diaphragm fuel pump" for 769.93 euros. After fitting the fuel pump, I realized that it wasn't working. So I called in a marine repairer, who found that the new fuel pump was faulty, and invoiced me for it. I got in touch with the DAM marine warehouse staff, who suggested that I send it back. After returning the part, they informed me that the warranty would not work because I had apparently "disassembled the pump", which is absolutely not the case. It's now my word against theirs, so I can sit on the warranty. It's not very commercial now that DAM marine is finished for me.

We cannot confirm its malfunction until you have disassembled it, so we cannot proceed with a refund or credit note for this pump.
