I like the vision and service of Daphbio: They answered my questions within an hour and I received my order from France nearly as fast as when I order from a shop in the Netherlands (where I live). The corals grew much more than with specialized coral food. Only I got white spot which killed nearly all my fish so I had to treat my aquarium. I don’t know whether the plancton survived

I followed the protocol to the letter, and no trace of life after more than 3 weeks, even with a magnifying glass. With 30 years of aquaristics I confirm that nothing is better than live stones to seed the aquarium.

Hello Pierre-Yves, first of all thank you for your feedback.
3 weeks is much too early to see microfauna, depending on the size of the tank it can take up to 3 months. Then the live rocks we can't find any more, the import is forbidden since 4 years and it's far from being a panacea because you can get covered with pests and many have stopped marine aquarium because of these same pests. Follow our protocol as defined on our blog "How to start a reef aquarium" and you will see that everything will go well (the protocol has been followed more than 20,000 times without any problems).
