Received the microfauna stock and algae alive and well after quick delivery. Algae was easy to culture and the microfauna is thriving. I counted daphnia, ostracods, copepods, paramecium and rotifers with the naked eye, and I assume I would see additional critters under a microscope. I found no traces of planaria or hydra. This is like a supercharged version of adding mature water to a tank, also including some higher life forms. Absolutely recommended for seeding a main aquarium, as well as for culturing live food.
