The downgraded pods are empty pods without aroma, so trash. I am very disappointed with my order.
Translated reviews
Response from DavidVanille.com – Spice Hunter
Hello, the downgraded vanilla pods are pods with a high vanillin content. The split pods in the batch are by far the most interesting because they are pods picked in over-ripeness with higher vanillin content (vanilla nose). This same vanilla is the one used by all our aromatic and perfumer clients. It is found in perfumes from famous big brands, purchased for their aromatic quality. These same clients never buy 'black' vanilla but prefer 100% drier vanilla, with more pods per kg and higher vanillin content in relation to pods/kg. Good winds, David

This is the first time I received an email showing me what I will receive in my package. I appreciated this special attention. Everything was carefully packaged and delivered without any problem. Thank you very much. So, I recommended you to my colleague at work (as we both work in pastry) and she also placed her first order
