Hello Annick,

Thank you for taking the time to share your opinion.

You have chosen two varieties of vanilla that have a naturally reduced moisture content. It is also clearly indicated in the description of each product that these are vanillas with a dry texture.

These vanillas are particularly suited for infusion to make delicious creams, ice creams, rice pudding, or other desserts, where they reveal all their aromatic richness.

Each variety of vanilla has its own characteristics. It is therefore important to choose it according to the intended use.
We remain at your disposal to assist you in your choices.

Looking forward,
The DavidVanille.com team

Hello Jeremy,

The cashews offered on our site are indeed cashew pieces. The photo shows the product, but since it is a natural product, the size and shape of the pieces may vary.

We are sorry if the presentation seemed different from what you expected.

Hello Catherine,

Thank you very much for taking the time to share your feedback and highlight the quality of our products.

We are sincerely sorry for this oversight during the preparation of your order. Our packages are prepared manually, and unfortunately, an error can occur.

As it was a complimentary sachet, we preferred to proceed with a refund of its value rather than incur higher shipping costs than the value of the gift.

Looking forward,

Hello Nour, The downgraded vanilla has a dry texture but is very aromatic as we specify on our site. Once rehydrated, the pods will triple in volume, releasing exquisite notes of warm, enveloping, and elegant vanilla.

Hello Jannice,

Thank you very much for your message and your positive feedback. We are happy that your experience at David Vanille met your expectations.

Hello Marc,

Thank you for your order and your support.

Following the review you left us, I see that you were disappointed with the cashew nuts. They are neither roasted nor salted, which can leave a slight bitterness. As indicated on the product sheet of our site, it is recommended to lightly roast them to make their taste more pleasant.

To fully satisfy you, we are processing the refund of your bag. We hope this solution will bring you satisfaction and remain at your disposal for any advice or questions.

The entire David Vanille team joins me in wishing you a very happy new year 2026.

Looking forward,
Isabelle

Hello Jonathan,

Thank you for your order and your support.
You chose the Lac Victoria vanilla, which is a dry vanilla. As indicated in the product description on our site, this vanilla is distinguished by its powerful aromatic notes, ideal for flavoring delicate preparations, especially when infused in milk to make desserts or creams.

If you scroll down the product sheet, you will find all the additional information regarding this vanilla, including storage and usage tips.

For preparations requiring a fattier and softer vanilla, we recommend the Bourbon vanilla from Madagascar or the Black Ebony vanilla from Uganda. These pods have a more oily texture, a higher moisture content, and are softer, making it easier to extract the seeds.
We are sorry that the Lac Victoria vanilla does not fully match your feelings. As with any vanilla, it is important to choose your pod according to the intended use.

Thank you very much for your understanding.
The entire David Vanille team joins me in wishing you a very happy 2026.

Hello Jeanne Marie,

The texture of this vanilla is well specified in the product description, where all the information is provided before purchase. It is indeed a drier vanilla, which may explain your feeling. However, we are pleased that the rest of your order has satisfied you.

Hello Léa,

Thank you for your order and your support.
We have taken note of your message left on the Avis Garantis site.

You chose Lac Victoria vanilla, which is a dry vanilla. As indicated in the product description on our site, this vanilla is distinguished by its powerful aromatic notes, ideal for flavoring delicate preparations, especially when infused in milk to make desserts or creams. The pods are fine, elegant, and allow for the release of subtle aromas.

If you scroll down the product sheet, you will find all the additional information regarding this vanilla, including storage and usage tips.

For preparations requiring a fatter and softer vanilla, we recommend Madagascar Bourbon vanilla or Uganda Black Ebony vanilla. These pods have a more oily texture, a higher moisture content, and are softer, making it easier to extract the seeds.

Furthermore, regarding vanilla caviar, it is composed solely of vanilla seeds, while vanilla powder is obtained by completely grinding the pod. Vanillin is mainly found in the pod's shell, not just in the seeds, which explains the difference in aromatic strength between caviar and powder.

We are sorry that Lac Victoria vanilla does not fully meet your expectations. As with any vanilla, it is important to choose your pod according to the intended use; do not hesitate to store it in a jar with a bit of rum to regain its softness and develop its volume.

Thank you very much for your understanding.
The entire David Vanille team joins me in wishing you a very happy 2026.

Best regards,
Isabelle

Hello Annie,

Thank you for your order and your support.
I also thank you for leaving us a very positive review, a sign of your satisfaction.

However, we noticed that you gave a rating of 1, which corresponds to dissatisfaction. I would like to send you a modification of the review so that you can adjust your rating according to your real feeling. For your information, the rating is generally as follows: 1 = not at all satisfied, 4 or 5 = satisfied or very satisfied.

This modification will allow us to avoid your positive review being penalized by a bad rating.
Thank you very much for your understanding.

I take this opportunity to present, on behalf of the entire David Vanille team, our best wishes for 2026.

Best regards,
Isabelle
