Hello, the downgraded vanilla pods are pods with a high vanillin content. The split pods in the batch are by far the most interesting because they are pods picked in over-ripeness with higher vanillin content (vanilla nose). This same vanilla is the one used by all our aromatic and perfumer clients. It is found in perfumes from famous big brands, purchased for their aromatic quality. These same clients never buy 'black' vanilla but prefer 100% drier vanilla, with more pods per kg and higher vanillin content in relation to pods/kg. Good winds, David

PERFECT!!!! We knew you, David, in Guadeloupe until the announcement of your departure, and we now live in SAINT MARTIN for a few years, where it is difficult to find spices of your quality. So, we had the order delivered to our son in mainland France, who will send them to us, as packages transported by GLS never arrive in ST Martin and are returned to the sender (we have had several bad experiences with different sites).
