First and last order.
No vanilla in my box but it must have surely vanished.
Non-existent after-sales service.

Madam,
Your vanilla packets appear in the photo of your order and on the cameras.
You wanted to smoke us out, we do not accept lies as we are not at fault.
This is a first among thousands of orders. There is still some level of stupidity.

Beautiful selection of spices with very specific notes outside of commercial ones. For us, it's a great find, we will return. Too bad we can't smell before, but it's also chance that sometimes makes us discover beautiful things.
The quality-price ratio is very correct.

I regularly order vanilla as I am a passionate pastry chef. I often test different suppliers and I came across Davie Vanilla. I ordered various products pods, extract, and powder and I am quite disappointed. little aroma comes out of the products. Maybe I got a bad batch?! Over 70€ of products.. I will not reorder.

Good but... I expected more flavor in the smell in general and after use, perhaps also rethink the packaging! 8 plastic packages * 50g for an order of chia seeds and the same for the squash, as for the vanilla 10 packages also in hard plastic to have the totality!? it's a bit shocking for this kind of product and at a time when we are trying to be a bit more careful....thank you

No contact with customer service who didn't even get back to me. My referral code didn't work, I was told to wait to order, but the promotions were ending that same evening, so I ordered without my referral code. I sent an email of dissatisfaction and was replied with 'too bad for you' basically... not even a commercial gesture, not even a vanilla pod as compensation or anything. I am very disappointed and now I will order my vanilla elsewhere. Too disappointed with customer service

I really liked the vanilla pods, superb and very tasty.
I also appreciated the very aromatic garlic powder, even though I discovered it came from China...
Regarding the herbs, I was surprised that they do not come from France, I don't think I will recommend you...
However, your vanilla pods are really to be recommended even though I find the price to be considered... but it is so difficult to find this product in stores, so thank you and well done!

This time I am disappointed, I ordered 10 saffron pistils and was told there was a stock shortage. I immediately made myself known and was refunded. How can there be a shortage when the order is validated and paid for? Moreover, I incurred shipping costs for two (I had made a large order at the beginning of January) items that I had taken as an accompaniment and which I did not need immediately.

Hello,
I don't like to rate people or give my opinion, I will try to do so because your site is well designed, the descriptions are clear, the payment and delivery went smoothly, I still find that paying €4.99 for delivery to a pickup point is a bit expensive! I tested the vanilla from Munnar, its quality and aroma are perfect, as for the one from Uganda, I will test it soon in a savory dish. Best regards H.B.

I have been ordering here for several years. The items are always of very good quality and the customer service is very good. I would have given 5 stars if it weren't for the new way of packaging the products. Indeed, before everything was packaged in hermetically resealable bags which was very practical. Today, for 200g of a spice purchased, for example, you receive 10 mini bags of 20g to cut with scissors. I hope you will return to the old method. Best regards.

Hello, We replied to you by email and you received a refund of €7.89 due to the team's error on another salt, Mea Culpa. Each packaging is visible on the product sheet in the packaging section at the top of the page. The DDMs are visible on the product sheet and the label of our products. For your question: Would you be in a balance sheet situation to 'clear' what remains without taking into account the orders received? I work on very wide hours and we take care of each order. It is 9:15 PM, a Friday night and I am closing the evening with your bitter question. Rather than getting angry, my response will be quite frank and massive, please do not order from us anymore. We are willing to apologize, learn from our small mistakes (salt inversion and refund) but I refuse the contempt and baseness of your question, that does not pass. Have a very nice year 2024. Best regards, David

Not a single item received was in accordance with the order! Product error AND format error (for example: 4 bags of 200g replaced by 32 bags of 25g!, 1 bag of 50g replaced by 5 bags of 10g....)

I had an issue regarding a discount voucher, I was contacted and told that I would be called back because the person had to check with David, but since then, no news, it's not cool for a company that claims to be close to its customers. But well, that's life.

Order of spices was perfect.
Order of "Lake Victoria" vanilla pods of very poor quality. The pods are small, very sparsely filled, and extremely dry... I am totally disappointed... I had ordered with a promo code from a YouTuber and I won’t make the mistake of ordering vanilla again.

Hello Alycia,
On the vanilla pods "Lake Victoria" sheet we clearly specify the aging: https://www.davidvanille.com/fr/gousses-de-vanille/717-gousses-de-vanille-brune-ouganda-m-lac-victoria.html
Meanwhile, 10 pods with this strong promotion at €6.99 is ridiculous. It is clearly stated to rehydrate the pods in a bit of alcohol to double or even triple in volume.
Thank you for your understanding,
Looking forward,
David Vanille

Vanilla received quickly. Good cheap price. But pods are very dry. Must put them in a large jar with a bit of liquid (rum) to rehydrate the vanilla and give it some flavor. A bit disappointed.

Hello Antoine,
You purchased Brown Vanilla from Lake Victoria, everything is written on the product sheet: https://www.davidvanille.com/fr/gousses-de-vanille/717-gousses-de-vanille-brune-ouganda-m-lac-victoria.html
You can also rehydrate them in milk, cream, or butter.
Thank you for your understanding.
Looking forward,
David
