Hello Stéphane,
Here is the technical sheet visible on the site :
A HUGE FAVORITE - What aromatic power! I strongly invite you to discover this Grand Cru vanilla worked in the old-fashioned way by my teams. Pods at full maturity slightly split or not split, a fireworks display of aromatic amplitude! A higher dry matter content, a reduced humidity level, allowing for all the aromatic precision of my harvest. It is from my beginnings on the beaches of Sainte Anne (Guadeloupe).
Also, the main photo accurately represents the vanilla sold.
Thank you in advance for your understanding,
Looking forward,
David Vanilla

The spices and teas are very good. The vanilla is very competitively priced. The Papua vanilla is perfect, well filled and soft. The red vanilla from Madagascar is a bit drier and less fleshy but of more than correct quality.

The spices are top-notch, the pods very flavorful even though at first glance I would have preferred them to be more fleshy. They are nonetheless excellent (quality-price ratio also and by far). Careful delivery, serious site. Thank you, I will order again.

Perfect for delivery and navigation on the site, nothing to complain about. However, a ZERO POINT for the products!!!! the pods are not pods but pieces of dry wood. I just opened one and tasted it, it's sand without flavor, that crunches under the teeth!! I am really disappointed! I was hoping to make a good rice pudding!!!! I expected wide and fleshy pods, a bit like the 'gold'... and well thick for the gold! How can such bad products be exported?!

Madam,
You purchased Bourbon Gold XXL vanilla pods and Madagascar Bourbon Red / 'Gold Medal' vanilla.
Each sheet precisely describes each quality. If a moist vanilla is for you a quality vanilla, I can do nothing more.
Should I practice selling pods with 40% humidity and you tell me it's beautiful and qualitative?
More seriously, reread my explanations and do not rely on appearances. My Bourbon Red vanillas are the most acclaimed by my top chefs. The habit does not make the monk, it is also true for vanilla.
Looking forward to it,

I am unfortunately very disappointed with the quality of the vanilla pods:
- which are very dry and must therefore be soaked in hot water to be split in two,
- which are very small in width, forcing the use of a whole pod when usually half is enough,
- which are very little fragrant,
- the product is not worth more than the amount charged.
In summary, the experience was not conclusive.

We have 625 positive reviews on this origin which is our Coup de Foudre source.
The aromatic profile is quite different from Bourbon vanilla, spicier and more floral.
The pods are sold in aged quality and detailed explanations are visible on the product sheet.

The site is clear and the products are well packaged. We are notified of the order's departure. Small downside! an error in the tea: jasmine instead of yuzu. We won't drink it anymore ;) so I reordered but the overall products are good. I recommend the site for people who appreciate good products.
