I didn't know this site at all, I discovered it through a pastry chef I love, and with my sister we made a joint order for vanilla pods. They haven't been tasted yet, but given the smell when opening the bag, I think our pastries will be up to par. Order received quickly, very well packaged, the delivery tracking was impeccable.

Very good quality spices. I only buy from David since I discovered the site.
I have also made some followers who now order from DV.
I can no longer find the plancha spices. Too bad.
Being a fan of real Mexican cuisine (not ''old el paso'' which is Franco-French), I find that the Mexican spices are not strong enough (lack of chili) and too expensive even if they are very good.
No issues with the rest. Excellent. A big ''weakness'' for saffron pistils, they are the best of the best

Order of spices was perfect.
Order of "Lake Victoria" vanilla pods of very poor quality. The pods are small, very sparsely filled, and extremely dry... I am totally disappointed... I had ordered with a promo code from a YouTuber and I won’t make the mistake of ordering vanilla again.

Meanwhile, 10 pods with this strong promotion at €6.99 is ridiculous. It is clearly stated to rehydrate the pods in a bit of alcohol to double or even triple in volume.

Vanilla received quickly. Good cheap price. But pods are very dry. Must put them in a large jar with a bit of liquid (rum) to rehydrate the vanilla and give it some flavor. A bit disappointed.
