Customer reviews of DavidVanille.com – Spice Hunter

I have nothing to say about this vanilla. I have already made 2 recipes with it and I find it perfect.

Not disappointed

Well received thank you not yet tasted just the cashews good but a bit dry

Very good

Well-designed site, fast delivery. Quality products. Just a note about the small non-resealable containers, too bad.

Always as good and nice.

Madam, 1 - First email with a response in a few minutes, sorry not to make an exception for you: Also, for a first order, do you offer free shipping? I am indeed not able to spend 69 euros. Thank you for your reply. 2 - Second request with courteous and quick responses: How can I revalidate my cart? I don’t have a link and I see that my order has been prepared? I am a bit lost... 3 - First order refunded urgently so that you can benefit from free shipping. Upon refund, you explain that you did not understand our email explaining to increase your cart to 69€ in order to have free shipping. 4 - Yes, I saw that but yesterday when including my code after signing up for the newsletter I also had another product included. Why would I no longer be entitled to it? See attached photo response from us quickly: Hello, We have refunded your order and the gifts change on Fridays. Another gift will be added upon validation of your order. 5 - Thank you for the little salt added in addition to my order. However, the wrong vanilla reference was delivered to me. Instead of receiving the XXL bourbon vanilla, I received the M size Bourbon. Can I return it to receive the correct reference please? 6 - Second email at the end of the day: Unless I am mistaken, I have not received a response to my email. There was an error in the order and I did not receive the ordered vanilla. 7 - Response from us: Your request has been taken into account but your email was sent 22 hours ago. We will get back to you as soon as we have the solution please. 8 - Mea Culpa error in order preparation solution from David Vanilla: RECEIVED GIFTED BOURBON VANILLA PURCHASED BOURBON VANILLA worth 29.99€ refunded. 9 - To the email explaining that our gifts cost us very little, I take matters into my own hands and ask you to move on. 10 - To your response: Rest assured that I absolutely did not intend to come back to you. A nice slacker who makes his money on exotic products and doesn’t even know how to prepare an order. CONCLUSION: You can’t please everyone. I sense a lot of jealousy and hatred in your words. Good luck to you,

Deplorable service. Information taken before the order about potential benefits for new customers (stay away, there are none). The guy charges full shipping costs for sending orders, regardless of weight. Once the package was received, there was an error with the product expected from the order. He refunded me but it’s not what I wanted. I would have obviously preferred to receive the initially ordered item. Bad luck: I have to reorder and pay the shipping costs again... The gentleman indicates to me that it would not be profitable for him to pay them. I think that when a mistake is made, one should be humble and do everything possible to fulfill the initial order. The gentleman tells me he has already given me gifts (with the samples you receive: 50g of salt, pepper, and curry) He indeed thinks he is generous by offering me these spices... which I am absolutely not interested in and that I was ready to return with the incorrectly delivered item. When I pointed out that these

A lot of choices

Fast and very clear

Satisfied with the quality of the vanilla pods I received but unfortunately a missing part (the package was tampered with during transport) a report from your side of the border might be useful. I would still recommend.

Order delivered quickly. Good service and functionality of the site. A nice variety of products offered. Thank you

The package was never delivered to me and I therefore lost my entire order.
After several follow-ups and phone conversations with DavidVanille, nothing was proposed to me, neither by David himself nor by his Customer Support service... As a result, DavidVanille chooses to sacrifice customer satisfaction rather than take responsibility to the end!
This is the first time I encounter such a situation. I am personally disgusted to have been treated with so little consideration, knowing that this was not my first order...
This is unprecedented for me. To be avoided.

Fast delivery, interesting site and competitive prices

Fast delivery, thank you Davidvanille I recommend to everyone quality product+++ good continuation

Nothing to complain about.

No complaints about order tracking and delivery.

Exceptional, the vanilla powder and spices are of good quality. A small downside on the CBD, I expected larger heads, but it still has a very good taste. Thank you.

Order well received! Could give more details when I have used the product for various uses

Order processed promptly and received at the post office on time and without problems.

Hello, I was generally satisfied with my order, the vanilla is excellent, the pepper too. However, a bit disappointed, one of the sachets of Sumac ordered was open upon delivery (see attached photos) and had spilled in the box. By the way, do you know if I can still use it, or if I should throw away the rest of the sachet? Furthermore, the hermetic bags containing the vanilla are almost impossible to open with fingers, the closure is too hard and I have to use my teeth every time...! A bit unfortunate.

Hello David, your Madagascar vanilla is of very good quality and well packaged for delivery. At the risk of repeating myself, as I have already mentioned this to your customer service, it might be good to adjust the number of 280 pods per kilo to 260 which seems more accurate to me, knowing that the number of pods can vary.. then, I also mentioned that my second kilo purchased in April 2024 was not placed by the postman or the delivery person in the correct mailbox.. be careful, as one can encounter an dishonest person... which was not my case. This detail is important in my opinion. Best regards. Philippe currently in Canada ;-) NB the green tea announced was not included in either of my two ordered kilos...

Very well done

First and last order.
No vanilla in my box but it must have surely vanished.
Non-existent after-sales service.

Beautiful selection of spices with very specific notes outside of commercial ones. For us, it's a great find, we will return. Too bad we can't smell before, but it's also chance that sometimes makes us discover beautiful things.
The quality-price ratio is very correct.

Original products, good quality. Fast delivery and careful packaging.
Only downside, this way of continuously offering different promotions is frustrating. The day after my order, there was a 20% discount on the entire site. I always feel a bit like I bought too expensively and at the wrong time.

The spices smell good! And taste good for those we have opened. However, we do not see the composition of the products (for example, for dried and candied fruits, we do not see the ingredient sugar). Moreover, some product titles are not explicit enough (for example: dried strawberries lack the information in the title that they are also candied).

a few problems

Good vanilla well scented for a custard

Fast shipping, first order of several products but one product is not of good quality and ended up in the trash.
I give four not three stars because I am satisfied with the others.

Fast delivery and attractive price

Good but... I expected more flavor in the smell in general and after use, perhaps also rethink the packaging! 8 plastic packages * 50g for an order of chia seeds and the same for the squash, as for the vanilla 10 packages also in hard plastic to have the totality!? it's a bit shocking for this kind of product and at a time when we are trying to be a bit more careful....thank you

Excellent site with great discounts when they have them.

One of the products was poorly packaged and the product leaked in the package... a bit disappointing. Prices are starting to get very expensive.

Product ok. Fast delivery. However, I was referred by my son and it was impossible to use the referral code on your site.

Good, nothing to say

DHL informs merchants that unpaid commercial invoices prevent the shipment of goods. The store did not respond, so I provided the documents myself and the goods took a month to arrive.

For the first time, really disappointed, a torn bag, all the bags sticky. I sent an email directly, remained unanswered. I didn't want to leave a review, but you prompted me! I will not order again during sales!

Nice site. Order shipped quickly

The spices are of quality, but I am disappointed with their new packaging. There are no more resealable bags and it really lacks to preserve the products…
