Complete order but one bag of ground coriander was torn, little loss of powder and the quality still seems good so no follow-up needed.

David vanilla is a serious site, the products are of quality, no problems. The delivery is ultra-fast. The only downside, but this is for the team, is that it is over-packaged. When ordering 150g of curry, you receive 3 small plastic bags of 50. Same for hibiscus flowers (Bissap). It's a shame.

Excellent quality/price ratio for the majority of products. Fast and careful delivery. One downside is the cashews that lack flavor.

This may seem strange, yet I take away 1 star from a perfect order in every way due to customer follow-up being too pushy in my opinion: between registration and order tracking, there were 10 follow-up emails in 2 days, that's a lot.

Delivery on December 1, 2023, everything is perfect as always except for a packet of genmaicha tea with a best before date of 31/12/2023. Even if it's 'preferably before', it's a gift for Christmas and it's a bit awkward. The person who will receive it might think I've had this at home for ages... In any case, I think this product has been in stock for some time at David Vanille, (all other products have dates ranging from December 2024 to December 2026...) I hope this is an error and that it won't happen again because the products received so far have always been of excellent quality.

Hello, I have already expressed my dissatisfaction by email, but I will repeat it here. After a few perfect orders, the last one extremely disappointed me. In one of the vanilla flake bags, there was a large hair... without a doubt... see numerous photos. In return, you offered me a credit on this product... and when I send the photos as proof, no response... for sure I will not order from you again.

Hello, We replied to you the same day just 45 minutes after your email (response - 29.11.2023 - 11:35). Our employees wear caps and blouses in our workshops in Uganda (vanilla cuts). Unfortunately, a hair was found in your package. I therefore offered to give you a credit on this bag while apologizing. All our batches are checked 3 to 5 times on site, 2 to 3 times in the workshop. This type of issue happens rarely. Meanwhile, we have not received any response to the one we sent you urgently. What response would you have liked? Best regards, David Vanilla

Always top quality spices, the only downside on this order was a delivery delay due to a repackaging by the Post, the package having been damaged. The box was far too light and probably did not withstand the careless handling (we know it) of the different providers! Nothing was missing except maybe if there was a gift!

Very interesting prices, especially on vanillas, but regarding what I ordered, the aromatic is much less powerful than a 'standard' vanilla found in supermarkets, you should know that. Also, the infusion time differs on the label and on the site, I was surprised the first time with my tea which was undrinkable. A bit disappointed also with the smoked pepper. However, delivery was very fast and careful!

The site is ergonomic, it is pleasant to navigate and very nice to find advice and recipes. If I have a complaint, it is the lack of transparency. Among the mixed spices (curry, marinade or barbecue mixes...) the composition is sometimes very vague 'spices'. It's a shame, especially for allergic people who need to be careful.

Fast delivery and properly sealed package, no bad surprises. The quality of the pods: surprised not to find them fatty but slightly dry, that said it does not detract from the quality inside which allows for quite a few seeds and fragrant. I froze, I tested but I don't think I will reorder!

Hello, Here is the description of the 40 vanilla pods (see product sheet) that you got on promotion for only 35.24€ or 0.88€ per pod. The red vanilla pods from Uganda are drier than other qualities, but they are also rich in vanillin. This means they contain a higher concentration of vanillin, which is responsible for the characteristic flavor and aroma of vanilla. We invite you to rehydrate these vanilla pods in a bit of alcohol to triple their volume and preserve them for years (see dark photo = rehydrated, light = upon receipt before rehydration). Some pods may be split as they were picked in over-ripeness on the vanilla plant (peak of vanilla aromas). Here, once again, it is not the visual we look at but the aromatic quality of the batch and the exceptional result in recipes. https://www.davidvanille.com/fr/gousses-de-vanille/571-8112-gousses-de-vanille-rouge-ouganda-m-mont-elgon.html#/230-quantite-40_gousses Thank you for your understanding, Looking forward, David
