The store consistently delivers on product quality and reliability, with many reviews highlighting well-packaged, carefully prepared spices and vanilla that meet or exceed expectations. Customers praise fast delivery, tracking, and the care taken in packaging, including thoughtful touches like little gifts and order photos. Positive experiences emphasize competitive prices, a wide and varied selection, and reliable follow-up, making repeat orders and recommendations common. Overall, shoppers describe satisfying purchases, repeated orders, and strong confidence in the site's offerings.
Order received well, on time... Good quality products!! If I took time to respond, it's because I needed a little time to discover and form an opinion on the products I ordered. So, the only small advice I would give you is to wait a few days (between 7 to 15 days) before sending this review request, so that people who ordered have time to use your products.

The vanillas seem very fragrant and of good quality, I don't quite grasp the difference between aged and non-aged ones, I imagine it is subtle but based on the descriptions on the site I expected something more pronounced, but this remains a detail I am very happy with my products

I discovered this site very recently and browsing it was very interesting because, except for the vanilla from Reunion (where I had the chance to get to know it during a stay), I was unaware of the richness of the spice world. My order was delivered quickly, well packaged. This is probably why opening the package was an opportunity for a real bouquet of both sweet and spicy scents. If I didn't give a fifth star, it's simply because I haven't tested all these spices, some of which are unknown to me.

Response from DavidVanille.com – Spice Hunter
Hello Anne,
Thank you sincerely for taking the time to leave a review. My shipping costs for Belgium are €11.89 with DHL express delivery. They are FREE from €149 in Europe.
To give you a comparison, sending a 1kg package via colissimo without signature is €15.05 (post office rates). My goal is to offer a premium service at the best price.
It would be possible to offer deliveries with relay solutions (delivery in 5 to 7 days) at a lower price but I am not interested because the service is not comfortable for my customers and the tracking is random.
You had already contacted me on July 13 to inform me that my shipping costs were too high, I then proposed FREE delivery in Europe from €149 instead of €199 previously. I am listening to my customers and doing my best to meet their expectations.
Thank you in advance for your understanding,
Have a great week,
Looking forward to it,
David Vanille: your spice seeker.

During another order from another supplier, I appreciated the packaging in a glass tube. What is this very nice jute bag supposed to be for??
Translated reviews
Response from DavidVanille.com – Spice Hunter
Hello Pierre,
I am very surprised by your opinion but remain open to every remark. I just looked at the MMS sent during your order. The pods are stabilized at 32-35% humidity, the notes are intense: cocoa, caramelized, indulgent, vanilla. Length of the pods 16-18cm. A humid vanilla at +35% is not a quality factor but rather the opposite.
The jute bag is simply "a gift offered" to keep the hermetic sachet protected from light and optimize the preservation of your Bourbon Gold vanilla pods from Madagascar.
Thank you in advance for your understanding,
Best regards,
David Vanille

I really like certain parts of the site that clearly show the seller's passion and make you want to read everything. I like less the navigation as a buyer, I have trouble finding my bearings. I also like less the price fluctuations. We are sold a 20% discount on pre-order and a month later, without discount, it's cheaper than pre-order, discount included. And I regret the disappearance of other spices from the site.

Response from DavidVanille.com – Spice Hunter
Hello Laure, Thank you for your feedback. I have renegotiated all my prices with my vanilla collectors with a 'transparent' newsletter to inform my clients. To accurately meet my clients' needs, I have created a format of 10, 20, and 40 pods for Bourbon Gold vanilla from Madagascar, Papua New Guinea, Uganda and only offer vanilla in 500g format beyond that. Please note that spices will return in a few months. Expect to discover 'off the beaten path' spices starting in September. It was impossible to manage all the sourcing, sampling, importation, control, promotion, sales, and shipping in a 24-hour day at the beginning of this year. Thank you for your understanding, Looking forward, David Vanilla
