Vanilla of poor quality

Too bad the black garlic is of such disappointing quality.
I buy it often, from different origins, this one is the worst I have ever bought, with a moldy aftertaste.
I ultimately did not use it.
For the other products, the quality is as always perfect.

A bit expensive and the preservation in plastic bags alters the taste... Paper would be better suited.

Several opened bags (peppers). Disappointed with the packaging.

Quick receipt of the package. Good overall condition. Well packaged BUT presence of cockroaches in the box. This caused a disappointment.

Delivery too long compared to other orders placed. Too bad.

For a first experience with you, I admit I am disappointed with some vanilla pods that are really too thin to be split. I would have gladly given 5 stars, as my vanilla ice cream is excellent.

The pepper and salt with black garlic are good products, however I have used several vanillas including bourbon to make ice cream and I don't find the taste very strong, maybe I should use it differently.

Bought vanilla pods by the hundreds of kilos from this company and rotten pods after 72 hours of receipt

Nothing to say regarding the order process or the quality of the products. But, for the second time in a row, the package was not delivered to the agreed location! Mondial Relay does not offer the option 'wait for the chosen relay point to be available'. Summary of the operation: order placed on June 6, delivered on the 17th, which made me lose an hour and six euros in public transport! I fear this was my last order with David Vanille.

The site is very beautiful and makes you want to buy vanilla. But there is a discomfort once the package is received and you discover the merchandise.

The site is clear, pleasant, and inviting. The preparation and shipping are careful, fast, and the sending of a photo of the package preparation is very appreciated. Unfortunately, the quality of the products, although at interesting prices and appealing due to promotions, leaves something to be desired from my point of view, but may suit other less demanding consumers.

Hello, I allow myself this negative review because my experience with your products was unfortunately very disappointing. The main disappointment was the quality of the vanilla. Despite the more than positive reviews on your site about your pods, I found myself with particularly dry pods, on the verge of being brittle. The dryness of the pods directly impacts the quality of the product and its aromas. Having already ordered from other suppliers, I was used to receiving fresh and well-oiled pods, unfortunately this was not the case with your products. One pod in one of the packages was even damaged, you can see it in the attached photos. As for the pistachios, they hardly do better than the vanilla, they are soft and lack flavor. Please excuse me for this negative review which may be unpleasant to read, I agree, but given the comments on your products, my expectations that arose from them, as well as the comparisons I can make with products from other competitors, I can only be disappointed by this first experience. I prefer to go back to other suppliers whose product quality has convinced me while remaining reasonably competitive with your prices. Thank you for your understanding and good continuation.

Hello, it's hard to give you my opinion because my order never arrived, I keep chasing the carrier, so for now I remain on my first experience which is very good. However, I sent you emails and never received any response, and let's not talk about reaching you by phone.

Vanilla rum infusion that tastes like neither, meat base containing only salt without taste, unacceptable

Everything was perfect except the quantity I received 900g of downgraded vanilla instead of 1kg of downgraded vanilla

I am disappointed not to have received a response to several messages I sent asking one thing: 'How can we proceed to obtain the best flavors of vanilla pods?' I still have not received a response on this subject but I receive promotional offers by email every two or three days. For me, the site davidvanille.com is just business

Quality products at very reasonable prices, however, a big downside on the packaging... I ordered 200g of several products and each time I received 10 individual bags of 20g... having at least 100g bags would help limit plastic use!

Very good site. Unfortunately, does not deliver to Switzerland.
It was written that if I subscribed to the newsletter, delivery would be free, whereas in reality I still paid for it.

I ordered several packets of vanilla bought in July 2024 with a shelf life until 2026 and of course unopened. I reported that several packets of vanilla are starting to mold and no response from customer service!!!

Dried vanilla pods, please vacuum pack them

Fast delivery, but the herbal teas are of poor quality. Disappointed, I did not have this problem with the first purchase.

The site is good, many products but not clear on the downgraded vanilla pods that are cut.

A lot of talk and especially inconsistency and change of opinion depending on the products offered.... so it's business but little competence... The last one is always the best and exceptional...

Hello, very disappointed with my order of downgraded vanilla which has neither taste nor smell.
I don't even know what to do with it.

The spices and vanilla are of quality. However, the delivery was not simple. GLS changed my delivery location without notifying me and the package had been opened (fortunately nothing was missing).

The site is very good, unfortunately, I am forced to make a purchase of €30

A bit disappointed with the quality, especially the so-called gift which seems to be more of a way to get rid of a batch of moldy vanilla. (see the photo)

After checking my order, 10 vanilla pods were missing. I contacted customer service, they didn't want to know anything. Supposedly they checked my order via camera and supposedly it was complete but I would like to know how they can verify an order by camera and know that this particular package is mine. Impossible. I sent a photo of my received order and it was indeed incomplete. The sales conditions were not respected. I therefore canceled my account and will order my vanilla pods elsewhere because it is not serious at all. The least they could do is apologize but the customer service person was aggressive so I no longer wish to help David Vanilla and I do not recommend this site

1 Too much plastic
2 The Ugandan vanilla seems to be several years old, Archie is dry. I think you should put the harvest year so we can better choose the quality without imagining it based on the price.
Other than that, I am satisfied with my purchase.

5 stars for the site but 1 star for the delivery by GLS which was very delayed and required a change of delivery location. And 5 stars for Nadine who did her best with a smile!

Big disappointment with customer service ...
On my order, I ordered 200 pods of Brown Ugandan Vanilla "Lac Victoria" M (20 packs of 10 pods).
As usual, I receive an email with photos of my prepared order. Only upon receipt do we notice with my partner that one pack of 10 pods is missing. I sent an email to customer service who has still not responded to me to this day regarding this missing product.

Forget the promotional gift, and responds that I ordered too early, that the promo started on the 25th while Justin Cooking had the promo on the 24th. She even seemed surprised by this off-topic response... Anyway... the vanilla is beautiful but the seller doesn't care about complaints.

Order not received after a month and a follow-up, but the cost has been debited from my account... Scam??
