The store consistently delivers on product quality and reliability, with many reviews highlighting well-packaged, carefully prepared spices and vanilla that meet or exceed expectations. Customers praise fast delivery, tracking, and the care taken in packaging, including thoughtful touches like little gifts and order photos. Positive experiences emphasize competitive prices, a wide and varied selection, and reliable follow-up, making repeat orders and recommendations common. Overall, shoppers describe satisfying purchases, repeated orders, and strong confidence in the site's offerings.
Overall quite good. 2nd order received quickly without any problems. Quality peppers. Vanilla tea good. Vanilla overall quite good. If you have dried black cherries, I am interested. But a small downside on the promotional lot of 100 Bourbon pods.. The quality/price ratio is satisfactory but a few pods (6/7) were much less beautiful than the others.

Very good communication. Very nice presentation. Just a bit disappointed by the quality of the vanilla pods which remain quite dry despite having soaked them in rum.

Hello Françoise, Thank you for your feedback. Wait a few more days, the pods will rehydrate completely within 15 days. They won't be as big as green vanilla but will have doubled or even tripled in volume. I remain at your disposal at [email protected]. Looking forward to hearing from you, David

On this day 6/03/23, I contacted customer service for a problem with macadamia nuts that are rancid despite a best before date of 31/12/2023.
After 2 emails and the incoherent and absurd responses that followed, I was in communication with a young lady who rejected me and refused to pass me to the manager to find an amicable agreement.
Fallacious arguments blaming the customer of course, and not the company.
I absolutely do not recommend this site because at the slightest problem, they decline all responsibility.
Translated reviews
Response from DavidVanille.com – Spice Hunter
Madam,
You purchased the macadamia nuts in July and stored them in your basement at 10°C (according to the explanations in your email). The nuts must be stored in a dry place, away from light and temperature changes.
We do not decline our responsibilities but do not take on when we have not made mistakes.
Incoherent and absurd responses? We took the time to respond very quickly to each of your emails and took the time to listen to your explanations for 25 minutes by phone.

The explanations about the products are detailed and clear, the navigation did not seem complicated to me (mobile navigation), in the dropdown menu, in the category "Spices and Aromatics", possibly add subcategories like "condiments, herbs, and spices" to facilitate the search if you want something specific, it is not necessary to scroll through all the items in the category "Spices and Aromatics", this is a suggestion not a criticism ;-)

After receiving pods with mold on them, I contacted customer service. I was told that it happens and that I just need to clean the pods with a cloth soaked in a little alcohol. So that's what I did, then I stored my pods in a glass tube to prevent this from happening again. Strangely, 3 weeks later my pods are completely moldy as you will see, and no refund is possible because I quote: "if you do not return the pods in their bag we cannot do anything." Who keeps a bag with mold thinking it will be used to get a refund?? No commercial gesture, this is really not normal. I do not recommend.

Hello, You received your order at the beginning of December and did not follow our conservation advice written on the label but also on our thank you notes. Fanny offered you a return but that did not suit you. Our customer service responded very quickly to your requests. We cannot be held responsible for poor conservation. See our advice again here: https://www.davidvanille.com/fr/content/category/3-tout-sur-la-vanille Thank you for your understanding, David Vanille
