Nothing to report, except for the poor work of the GLS carrier... Package delivered to another relay point, returned to the sender, re-shipped (to home this time). It was therefore very long!

Very intuitive site, a lot of choices, prices are interesting, the vanillas are of much lower quality than the worthy pods, but let's be fair, the prices are well below the exorbitant prices practiced in stores. In short, I recommend and will reorder as soon as necessary.

Translated reviews
Response from DavidVanille.com – Spice Hunter
Hello Charles, Thank you for your loyalty and for your feedback regarding our Coconut Curry. I understand your concern about its composition. Allow me to provide you with some clarifications on the ingredients that concern you: The spices and aromatic plants are the heart of our business and come from carefully selected sources. The skimmed milk powder is a 100% natural ingredient that brings the characteristic creaminess of coconut milk. Modified starch is simply starch transformed by physical processes, without the addition of chemicals. Xanthan gum (E415) is a natural thickener, produced by fermenting sugar with a bacterium. Citric acid (E330) is naturally present in citrus fruits and other fruits. Our approach at David Vanille has always been to offer authentic spice blends while ensuring optimal preservation and use. The additives present in our Coconut Curry are used in minimal quantities and are all of natural origin or derived from natural products. Do not hesitate to discover our other spice blends or to contact me directly if you would like alternatives without these components. Looking forward to continuing to take you on a flavor journey, David

No issues with the products or the order... however, GLS needs to be stopped, this carrier is a disaster... and can we still call it a carrier.... 3 orders placed with you, 2 were delivered to the wrong pickup point which forced me to travel 15km while my pickup point is 500 meters from my home.... too bad, I hope this will evolve....

Hello Christophe,
I completely understand your frustration regarding the delivery issues with GLS. We sincerely apologize for these repeated inconveniences, especially the deliveries to the wrong pickup point that forced you to travel 15 km instead of the initially planned 500 meters.
Good news: following numerous similar feedback from our customers, we have decided to test a new carrier starting early April. This change should allow for more reliable deliveries within 48 to 72 hours. Our priority is to ensure a serious delivery service that meets the quality of our products.
We thank you for your patience and loyalty despite these inconveniences. Your satisfaction is essential to us, and we are doing everything we can to constantly improve our service.

Sir,
We are surprised by your feedback regarding our downgraded vanilla pods. Indeed, this product usually receives excellent evaluations from our customers, with a very high average rating, especially for its excellent value for money.
The downgraded vanilla, although presenting smaller or split pods as described in our description with many details, retains all its aromatic qualities.
If the bags have not been opened, we offer you to return them to the address on our labels for a full refund.
We are certain that other customers, familiar with the use of natural vanilla, will appreciate these pods at their true value.

Hello Hervé, You are right, imports and harvests have been very poor in 2024. To be honest, I've never seen anything like it since I started in 2011. Many harvests will arrive by boat between February and June. We should solve many shortages. Meanwhile, the range will expand in 2025 to offer you new gems found in the plantations. Thank you for your understanding. Looking forward to it, David

After checking my order, 10 vanilla pods were missing. I contacted customer service, they didn't want to know anything. Supposedly they checked my order via camera and supposedly it was complete but I would like to know how they can verify an order by camera and know that this particular package is mine. Impossible. I sent a photo of my received order and it was indeed incomplete. The sales conditions were not respected. I therefore canceled my account and will order my vanilla pods elsewhere because it is not serious at all. The least they could do is apologize but the customer service person was aggressive so I no longer wish to help David Vanilla and I do not recommend this site
