Missing a product, refund processed but, one product that was essential for me. The vanillas come very dry and for some almost impossible to save. I will not buy here again.

Hello Nour, The downgraded vanilla has a dry texture but is very aromatic as we specify on our site. Once rehydrated, the pods will triple in volume, releasing exquisite notes of warm, enveloping, and elegant vanilla.

I was not at all happy with my vanilla... it was really very dry, very difficult to cut in half to retrieve the pulp. After, I understand that for the price it might be a quality a bit below and that the variety is drier than other varieties. But at that point, it was very complicated, it had little smell nor taste once used. After, I don't blame anything, I can understand that for the price it was a punchy promotion. That I wouldn't have a very good quality vanilla at that price. I suppose the other varieties must be superior in quality, I haven't tried them.

For preparations requiring a fattier and softer vanilla, we recommend the Bourbon vanilla from Madagascar or the Black Ebony vanilla from Uganda. These pods have a more oily texture, a higher moisture content, and are softer, making it easier to extract the seeds.
We are sorry that the Lac Victoria vanilla does not fully match your feelings. As with any vanilla, it is important to choose your pod according to the intended use.

Certainly the prices are attractive for vanilla pods but the quality is mediocre. I ordered Tahitensis vanilla and received pods as hard as wood and very low in seeds. The other vanilla ordered (Bourbon Gold) is softer, fragrant but lacks flavor. In short, I am very disappointed with the vanilla. On the other hand, the Moroccan mint tea is excellent! In conclusion, for vanilla, there is no secret: if you want quality, you have to pay the price.

I was not satisfied with my last order regarding the Ugandan vanilla whose pods were all dry, I was already told that it was normal, these pods are drier than others from different origins, however I had already ordered this type of vanilla and it was not of this quality. The last ones are really tasteless. Here is my disappointment. The 10 pods as a gift are identical so hardly usable

To be perfectly clear: the Brown Vanilla Lac Victoria from Uganda is naturally dry and less fleshy, as explicitly stated on our site.
Pods sometimes cracked or curved = sign of mature harvest.
Dry texture = normal for this entry-level vanilla.

Easy to navigate, lots of information. Quick processing of the order and delivery within the announced timeframe. However, I was very disappointed with the quality received: extremely dry and brittle pods, requiring rehydration several days before use in pastry... and nothing was announced on the site!

I do not recommend this site, not because of the quality of the products (I do not have enough hindsight on this subject yet), but for two important points: 1. The choice of carrier (DPD): the delivery person did not bother to come to my house, even though I had taken a specific leave to receive the package. He directly dropped the package at a relay point outside my city. From there, David Vanilla unfortunately could no longer intervene. 2. The packaging: when my friend picked up the package, it was barely taped (see photo). All the products could have been lost along the way. Fortunately, he took the time to check on site that nothing was missing.

I bought brown vanilla pods from Uganda, they are good, quite large. However, I regret the site that forces customers to buy a minimum of €29. I needed about twenty pods and had to buy 70 to reach the required amount. This leads to overconsumption. Unacceptable!!!!
