You purchased Bourbon Rouge vanilla and Brown vanilla which are dry (see product description), these pods are often richer in vanillin and more intense in infusion. Try it with scallops, flambéed with rum with just butter or vanilla cream, seasoned with a hint of curry for example. Another idea, a syrup infused for a long time at low temperature (around 80°C) and cooled for 24 hours, it will be excellent. We remain reachable if needed at 0374470017, do not hesitate.

We are sincerely sorry that this last order did not bring you complete satisfaction, especially in the perspective of introducing our vanillas to your family.

However, we would like to clarify a few points regarding the products received.

First of all, our bags are never vacuum sealed, and this applies to none of our orders. It is therefore quite normal that the bags do not have this vacuum-sealed appearance.

Regarding the vanillas that you describe as 'very dry', it is also important to distinguish the different preparations offered on our site.

The Bourbon Rouge from Madagascar and the Brown Vanilla from Lake Victoria are vanillas intentionally offered in a drier profile. This characteristic is specified in the descriptions of their product sheets and is also visible in the photographs presented on our site.

In contrast, our Bourbon Gold® from Madagascar corresponds to a much fleshier, softer, and moister vanilla, with a particularly indulgent profile.

Vanillas from different terroirs and supply chains can therefore present quite different textures: some are fattier and fleshier, while others are drier and more fibrous. This does not mean that they are altered or unfit for consumption.

We obviously attach great importance to the quality of our vanillas and the care taken in their selection. This is precisely why we present the origin, profile, and characteristics of each variety on our product sheets, with photographs that also allow you to visualize their appearance.

We fully understand, however, that you may prefer softer and fleshier pods, especially when they are intended to be given as gifts.

If you wish to renew the experience, we will be happy to assist you in choosing the fleshier and softer varieties from our collection, so that your next order better meets your expectations.

Thank you for your feedback. The Bourbon Rouge is naturally drier and more concentrated in dry matter, which makes it mainly suitable for infusion. For a softer and meatier vanilla, the Bourbon Gold would probably have been better suited for your use.
