I find that the vanilla pods from Madagascar that I ordered are not very fleshy and did not flavor my flan which does not have that pastry taste.
Translated reviews
Response from DavidVanille.com – Spice Hunter
Hello Chantal,
Thank you for your feedback. The Madagascar Vanilla Banana is a special variety, naturally fleshy and moist, with powdery notes, almond, and frangipane. To fully enjoy its aromas, we particularly recommend a sufficiently long infusion, which allows the scents to gradually release.
We are sorry that it did not bring the vanilla flavor you were hoping for to your flan and remain at your disposal to advise you.
